Biography

Rita Sahatçiu Ora (born Rita Sahatçiu; 26 November 1990) is a British singer, songwriter and actress. Her debut studio album, Ora, released in 2012, debuted at number one in the United Kingdom. The album contained the UK number-one singles, "R.I.P." and "How We Do (Party)". After reaching the peak position as a featured act on DJ Fresh's "Hot Right Now", Ora became the artist with the most number-one singles on the UK Singles Chart in 2012, with three consecutive singles reaching the top position. She was nominated for three Brit Awards at the 2013 ceremony.

The first single from her second album, "I Will Never Let You Down", became her fourth UK number one when it debuted at the top of the charts in 2014. Also in 2014, Ora featured on Iggy Azalea's single, "Black Widow", which reached number three in the US. In 2015, Ora became a coach on the fourth series of The Voice UK, and later that year, a judge on the twelfth series of The X Factor. - Wikipedia

I'm really liking 'Body On Me' actually. The stuff she's been releasing since 'I Will Never Let You Down' is so much better than the tripe from her debut.

New peak for Body On Me but still not top 20 :(

Great track though!

'Body On Me' is so...nothingy. It's not awful or anything but not interesting in the slightest. Chris' Pia Mia feature is leagues ahead <3

Body On Me- probably growing a bit, but its still pretty insipid

I have the complete opposite opinion! 'Body On Me' keeps growing with each play whereas I find 'Do It Again' so bland and dated.

I adore this. Without doubt one of the best songs this year.

A catch-up of my thoughts so far:

Trap Queen gets more and more painful every time I hear it, after not minding it at first :( The Hills not getting a play is quite amusing :kink: There must be some reason they can't play it, it's very odd though! YAY for Body On Me getting a new peak, hopefully it can edge towards the top 20, maybe even top 15 at some point :(

Shine remains awful.

I adore this. Without doubt one of the best songs this year.

Absolutely agree!

Top 3 of the year so far...

Whew, something I enjoy! Shine still sounds pretty fantastic, probably because I haven't overplayed it that much recently.

I have the complete opposite opinion! 'Body On Me' keeps growing with each play whereas I find 'Do It Again' so bland and dated.

Interesting! For me 'Body on Me' just doesn't spark any reaction, it's just THERE, whilst 'Do It Again' is a lot more fun. Then again, 'Do It Again' itself was a grower.

:hi: Sorry for the slowness, re-entries are not conducive to making these recaps quickly.

Yet to hear the R. City song, no real desire to hear it for obvious reasons but Adam Levine features have a tendency to not be near as bad as Maroon 5 songs so maybe it'll be okay...

'Uptown Funk' back really? <_<

Yay for a climb for 'Downtown', hope it can grow into a decent sized hit over the next few weeks.

'Body On Me' is fantastic. Gutted it hasn't managed a top 20 position just yet. Hopefully this coming week it can do that! But I'm loving it's way up the chart. Exactly how these OA/OS releases should work, imo.

"Shine" is so much better than "King". Can't wait for "Eyes Shut" to become a smash
