I really like this song and find it quite overrated

I guess you mean underrated? :heehee:

Sad that Part of Me is as low as #20, it's better than that!

'If We Ever Meet Again' and 'Hummingbird Heartbeat' both out consecutively and so low?! Double U Tee Eff BJ!!!! :drama:
Fantastic results so far. A lot of the crap has been disposed of already. I'm praying 'Thinking Of You' pulls a shock top 5 placing.
Hummingbird Heartbeat and By The Grace of God are both higher than I expected, but I guess people are more likely to give a 0 or -1 to a single rather than a song that's essentially an album track. Very pleased with these results so far!

"Part Of Me", honestly never keen on that song and glad it finished so low, for me it was definitely the worst of the Teenage Dream era singles.

"Hummingbird Heartbeat" is a song that I will always adore and okay maybe it might or might not have worked as a proper single, but either way it's still a great song whatever happened.

"By The Grace Of God", yes another beautiful slow number, which I think was intended as the 6th single from Prism, but was cancelled after "This Is How We Do" and "Birthday" flopped, if they'd had been big hits, then this would have definitely followed for a X-Mas release. But honestly I don't think it would have worked as a single, as to be honest her ballads never really do that well, (Thinking Of Me flopped, The One That Got Away did well in America, but only managed a #18 peak in the UK and Unconditionally also flopped.) Releasing 2 ballads would have been a mistake, especially after many fans weren't happy when "Walking On Air" wasn't given a release, which would have definitely been a hit if it followed "Dark Horse". Even "Legendary Lovers" would have been a decent choice and even that was rumoured to being a single at one point and was gonna be remixed to feature Drake, which would have been interesting, wonder how that would have done.

I think the next one out will be either "Starstrukk" or "This Is How We Do".

Did Birthday and This is How We do really flop enough for Katy to cancel a further single? They both outsold Unconditionally and went Platinum.

Edited by Joe.

'Birthday' is so SO underrated, probably my 2nd favourite from 'Prism'.

Mariah Careyoke slaying your faves though *.*

16. STARSTRUKK FT 30H!3 - Average: 7.46

Starstrukk's exist means that half of Katy's collaborations have already dropped out before the top 10! This was Katy's first song since her first big era- One Of The Boys- and she collaborated with the now irrelevant 30H!3 for Starstrukk which gave Katy her 2nd UK top 3 hit! This debuted at #5 on Christmas week and stayed in the top 10 for a while and also sold well as it made the 30 biggest sellers of 2010! I love this song as it is such fun and Katy's verse is *.* This song received a load of high scores but a -1 from Joseph saw it suffer a lot here! But on the other hand I was expecting it to be bottom 3 so escaping bottom 5 is a big success in my view!

Part of Me SO LOW?! Buzzjack, you can't even vote properly.

15. THIS IS HOW WE DO - Average: 7.50

The first of two tracks that Riser and Joe especially wanted to do well falls out of the running in 15th place which I guess could be classed as a success. This Is How We Do was the 5th single from Prism which followed Birthday's poor chart performance with another chart performance where it flopped well outside of the top 20 here and didn't do great in America I think? I like this song but once again as with Birthday, there were other songs that should have been singles over this! This received by far the most 10's so far with 8 scores that high but quite a few low to average scores saw this fail to get any higher. Predictions for 14th?

Now this was a big shock for me that this missed the top 10 and got beaten by songs such as Unconditionally and Thinking Of You. I know most people don't think it has aged well but this is a really disappointing result for the worldwide #1 smash and the lead single from the Teenage Dream era. This song features Snoop Dogg and was in the top 10 biggest sellers of the year in both the UK and the US. I adore this song and it is probably in my top 5 Katy songs and it is so good listening to this in the summer! This received one 11 and a massive eight 10's but it got multiple -1's and loads of scores around 3-5 so it flopped in this rate :( Predictions for 13th?

'This Is How We Do' is a bit of a cult favourite here then . In the video thumbnail it's almost like Katy's taunting Froot via her watermelon for his efforts to keep the song out of the top 15. ^_^

'California Gurls' rightfully out early :D. Trashy and soulless - it wasn't even fun at the time.

Can't believe 'Unconditionally' is still in. :o I don't think CG should be *that* low but it was the weakest link of TD era.
I really thought This Is How We Do would at least beat Unconditionally and Thinking Of You. Still, #15 isn't bad.

In my view this is the biggest shock of the rate! This just missed the bottom two and sneaked into the top 20 in the last Katy Perry singles rate so it is great to see this beautiful track is becoming more loved on buzzjack over time. Thinking Of You was the first Katy ballad to be a single and it flopped in most places and missed the top 20 here in the UK. The video is also beautiful and one of my favourite Katy videos and even though her voice could be better on this track, it is a beautiful song  This received a lot of high scores but also quite a lot of low scores stopping it from doing better!

A big jump in the number average now! I was also expecting this to make the top 10 in all honesty as it seems really popular on the whole! This was the 5th single from Teenage Dream and this song helped Katy match or beat the record for the most #1’s from one era ever in America. This was also another top 10 for Katy here. The song is fantastic and I adore the verses and the saxophone part but the highlight of this song is of course the absolutely incredibly video which is easily in Katy’s top 3 videos videowise. I love this and wish this made the top 10 here and the Missy Elliot version is also great! This received quite a few 10’s and loads of 8’s and 9’s but no 11’s, a negative score and a few other low scores brought down its average by quite a bit!
