It will need to be Top 20 all week to make the Top 40, unless streaming improves rapidly.

 

Last week, #40 sold 14k so it takes a lot of downloads to make it if you've not got streaming on your side.

I've just checked iTunes and it looks like KDA will in fact be released this Friday and not 23/10.

 

I still think even with 1D as competition that KDA will be #1 though

I feel like streaming will screw KDA over against 1D actually - their streaming will most likely start quite high (maybe not as high as Drag Me Down but higher than instant grat Infinity). 1D's sales will probably be higher too - KDA's pre-order won't give them as much of a head start as it looks.

It would make more sense for 1D to pull their release back a week (30th) then there'd be a Syco release every week for three weeks: Ben (16th) Fleur (23rd) 1D (30th)

Yeah 1D will probably get another #1 (so then there's only one direction left for them to go: down :basil: )

Agreed! *.* (Plus not here for manipulated #1s but I've gone on about that too much already) By the sounds of the previews, I'd actually love a Ben and Kelly #1 but I know that won't be peaking for a few weeks yet.
