Bye Justin Bieber! Drake is now number 1 on Spotify :o

Drake :cheer: :cheer: Next stop, official #1!!

Amazing to see KDA gaining quickly too, hope it's enough for him to keep the #1.

I hate it when an artists worst song becomes their biggest hit. I like Drake but Hotline Bling is f***ing terrible and nearly unlistenable.
Shame "The Hills" is still behind "Can't Feel My Face" but I'm glad Drake has toppled Justin Bieber from the top
OMG DRAKE THE KINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!

I don't get how Drake is doing so well, the song is terrible.

His other big hit "Hold On, We're Going Home" was crap as well.

Preach was a bop.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one. What exactly do people like about it?!

I have liked some of his songs though, just not this.

I'm far from a Drake fan but gosh this is a dreadful song, baffled as to how it's been received so well...
I think it's mainly the cha cha instrumental + the catchy chorus. His dodgy dancing in the video has contributed a lot as well.

I love Hotline Bling because...

-the dancehall sampled beat

-relatable lyrics

-sounds great on a night out

-Drake's dancing in the video

-love Drake's music anyway

It's not my favourite of his (probably Headlines or Take Care), but it's not hard for me to see why it's proven popular. I'm slightly surprised by it's chart prominence, but with each new album release Drake has rose in popularity to his current status. Note the improved performance of Hotline Bling to Started From The Bottom to Headlines (each the first taste of a new Drake album).

I don't care for it either, it sounds like an ok album filler and nothing more to me...
Hotline Bling annoys me cos he blatantly made that video knowing full well that his ridiculous dance moves were gonna be gif'd and vine'd so much. The whole internet has fallen for it. "I CANT BREATHE AT THIS VINE OF DRAKE DANCING OH DOESNT HE LOOK RIDICULOUS" yes he WANTS to look like a f***ing nob, so you morons will share it and promote his song!! Aargh

Started From The Bottom was such a great song though. I also enjoyed The Motto and PREACH (even though it was from the mixtape), those songs should have had this sort of success imo.
