Week 3 rankings:

 

7-5-1 Lauren: So glad she picked this, just showed how dated the theme would have been as it was the most current & relevant out of everyone and she nailed the track

1-6-2 Louisa: Back on form, after a sluggish start it grew into a superb performance with excellent vox

11-4-3 Reggie N Bollie: On paper this looked hideous but I actually loved it, loads of fun & they really need to stay in another week

12-2-4 Anton: Heard the song a million times but seldom from someone of his ilk, a bit jittery at times but the song suited him to the ground

5-9-5 Ché: Still waiting for that 'wow' moment akin to his first audition but this was decent, just felt it was incredibly dated and old-fashioned, vocals outstanding however as per

4-10-6 Mason: Not outstanding by any means but a good upbeat track that didn't feel old but current in the way he performed it, a little forgettable but nowhere near as much as last week

8-3-7 Monica: Very strong vocally again but just didn't feel the song choice at all, she'd have been waaay better performing the Haddaway track of the same name Keisza-style

3-8-8 4th Impact: Didn't get the overwhelming positive reaction to them at all, was pretty boring and zoned out through most of it, the dancing was 'okay'

10-1-9 Max: He was the huge disappointment for me last night, just a really poor song choice. Pleasantly sung but a thoroughly boring performance...

Literally, would have slipped to number 2, but the confidence and last 10 seconds of the song kept him here. Simon was so right, he's gunna get LAID! :lol:

2. Lauren Murray. 5-9-6-2

STUNNING. Brilliant, current and relevant. Ariana Grande and James Bay, I hope they keep going, I don't want her doing Whitney and Mariah.

 

3. 4th Impact. 2-1-2-3

Good for them fighting and performing. I thought the song choice, was actually a little bit average, but they performed it brilliantly and made me enjoy it. They can't not be in the final.

 

4. Reggie N Bollie. 10-5-3-4

Love them. Don't care. Enjoyable, fun. The most credible of "novelty acts" I think X Factor has had. But, I think it's harsh to label them as Novelty tbh.

 

5. Monica Michael. 3-2-4-5

I am so so curious what Bang Bang would have been like. I thought her bottom 2 performance was good. But, I don't think this competition is what she needs. She needs to be with producers and song writers because both songs she's wrote and performed have been stunning.

 

6. Mason Noise. 9-6-9-6

Okay, little bit shallow. But I'm a sucker for a guy in a suit :blush: He's good, but I think he needs a little bit more time to figure who he is as an artist, I don't think he's QUITE there.

 

7. Louisa Johnson. 8-10-8-7

I don't care.

 

8. Anton Stephens. 7-7-11-8

I don't find him to be genuine in his sincerity. I find it all very theatre and calculated. I can see why he was a backing singer, a great one, but just not captivating enough to be a superstar.

 

9. Max Stone. 11-8-7-9

I had started to root for him a little bit. But, of every song from every film, he performed this. Nonono. Not a great choice, but his voice sounded good.
