You did beat the "mighty" Bristol City though, must have been the highlight of the season... :P

We stuttered through that one if memory serves me right! Being knocked out 4-0 at West Brom was the end of our season for all extent and purposes.

Very very weak time out tonight, but to be expected. As embarrassing as it might be if we get beat, to be honest there are much more important matters at hand as much as I would like to win the cup.

We were definitely the better team in the first half, the second half was more even. We probably deserved a draw at least.

We've got West Brom tomorrow. A 4-0 spanking wouldn't exactly surprise me tbh. :(

I'm not even that close to the stadium this year and I can hear it loudly from my window. Good show Exeter, keep it up for the next 30 minutes please.

Oh dear :( Exeter's defending for the second equaliser was rather panicky.

In some ways that's an even better result for Exeter. A dream trip to Anfield whereas they otherwise could have won and then lost to a team in the same division in the next round.

Thought it was a good game, two panicky defences (though we were playing a left back who had not played for a year as a centre back!! and a player who has not played since last April). Would have taken a draw considering the circumstances. We'll make smash these at Anfield.

Bogdan is absolutely woeful. Rodgers is a maniac. Only positive is he won't be second choice in the summer!

Ah. That'll do it, fair play Liverpool. Not that I expect Exeter to win a rematch but we can give it another good go.

I was quite gutted when Liverpool equalised, I really wanted Exeter to win but a draw is still a fantastic result for them and now the players & fans will have a good night out at Anfield. Exeter's 2nd goal was incredible but it was partly down to bad defending from Liverpool and their goalkeeper.

While I was watching the match and seeing people looking out of the windows I wondered if windows have ever been broken there before. The houses are SO close to the stadium

Quite a lot of stadiums are like that, especially older ones.

Exeter will enjoy their day out at Anfield, and I fully expect Klopp to play a similar type of team again. On a proper pitch we'll beat them no question. I thought Exeter did really well, and the cup always throws up shocks. One of the big teams will go out over the weekend, glad it's not us.

When I started watching football, pitches were far worse than that in January

George best used to play on even worse pitches and rip the piss out of players :)

Very true indeed. Players were allowed to tackle back then as well. :D

So far, Man City, Stoke both leading and the early kick off finished Wycombe 1-1 Villa.

Hoping my Birmingham can pull off a shock today against Bournemouth (lost 8-0 and 4-2 to them last season so it would be sweet revenge)

I'm literally feeling drowsy after watching that first half of Man Utd vs Sheffield United. the obsessively negative commentary of Michael Owen in particular on BT Sport isn't helping either.
It's not how you do it it's simply doing it in the cup. Painful at times but banana skin averted phew!
Very poor performance from Man Utd, we are very lucky to be straight into the 4th round. The Sheffield United players should be proud of themselves and Sheffield United defender Dean Hammond shouldn't let his mistake affect him too much.
