January 30, 20169 yr I'd hardly say Rooney has to eat humble pie, yous as expected defeated a decent championship side well done. As for the fans that'll be the Coke those hard core unit d away fans normally are taking in the toilets at half time ;)
January 30, 20169 yr Would you like a slice of humble pie now or in 4 mins when it ends? Not seen the game, but sounds like you played fine. I thought it would be a 1-0 affair! Be interesting to see if he plays more expansively now, I have my doubts still.
January 30, 20169 yr To be honest I had expected to lose. We've not been playing well but something seemed to work last night. For once when we've played attacking football our defence hasn't entirely crumbled. Not pleased that Derby scored, think that could have been defended better, but overall it was an acceptable performance all round.
January 30, 20169 yr Would you like a slice of humble pie now or in 4 mins when it ends? *snort* at an FA Cup victory over Derby being considered bragging rights.
January 30, 20169 yr Have you seen us play recently? It's not so much bragging rights as a cause for celebration. We could have played better but my god we've played soooooooo much worse recently.
January 30, 20169 yr What would you say is your favourite FA Cup moment? Manchester United winning the FA Cup in 1999 as part of that glorious treble!
January 30, 20169 yr Giggs goal. No question. Honorable mention to Havant & Waterlooville twice taking the lead at Anfield in 2008.
January 30, 20169 yr Liverpool vs West Ham was a tough watch, I'm feeling drowsy after that. Boring game for sure, real lack of quality. Must say I was surprised by West Ham, they outplayed us twice this season but we gave a good account of ourselves. I suspect they'll win the replay, but if we're still in the game after 50-60 mins I think we have a fighting chance, cos we will play a similar type of team again and in the 2nd half the fitness levels really showed.
January 30, 20169 yr Author Not really a great game indeed. Hopefully the replay will be better. Well done to Shrewsbury on knocking out Sheffield Wednesday with a goal in the sixth minute of added time.
January 30, 20169 yr Just got back from work, our game sounded dull with Liverpool having the better chances. Still, I'll take a replay and another famous night under the Upton Park lights. Appreciate them while you still can!
January 31, 20169 yr A draw against Shrewsbury Town is the best that I was hoping for :D, Arsenal and Hull playing each other again for the 3rd season in a row. Chelsea vs Man City should be a decent match also.
January 31, 20169 yr And I'm more confident of winning away than at home right now! Some good ties in there, some big names guaranteed to fall.

January 31, 20169 yr Author Fifth Round Draw Tottenham v Crystal Palace Blackburn v Liverpool/West Ham Shrewsbury v Man United Chelsea v Man City Arsenal v Hull City Watford v Leeds United Bournemouth v Everton Reading v West Brom/Peterborough

As for the fans that'll be the Coke those hard core unit d away fans normally are taking in the toilets at half time ;) It was Friday night, the away end were extremely drunk. That was clear for all to see. What a bafflingly narcissistic point to bring up. It's no different to what goes on up and down the country every weekend.
January 31, 20169 yr Aside from that silliness, Shrewsbury away is a fantastic draw. Some very strong competitors still floating about for this stage of the competition.
