I've just had a major freak out for Carrie Underwood.

LOL @ the utter basic people saying it's "scraping the barrel" by having her. She has a career that all reality music tv contestants can only DREAM of. Why shouldn't be there to show what can happen with pure talent and dedication? She is a massive American star and one of the biggest names that has been a performer this year. She's never had a major tour or push here and she's headlining a UK Country festival in March and has sold out the Royal Albert Hall and despite the lack of push has two top 20 albums to her name. Educate yourselves before making such asinine comments. Srsly.

[/Rant]

I'm kind of glad she isn't doing Smoke Break as I just don't think the UK would get it as it is a bit more NICHE. I would have loved her to have done Dirty Laundry but Heartbeat will be lush and show off her talents.

LMAO y'all are being so picky! One minute it's "Ugh. Same, old boring acts. I wish they'd give the chance to someone new" and the next it's "lol why?"...

They really haven't managed to get an A-list star (well I guess Ed) this year so far have they.
I disagree. 1 direction. Ellie is also a massive name. Little Mix are getting bigger and bigger with each era and they've just had Ed, but you've acknowledged him.

Also, Carrie is gonna be great! I think it'll push her album top 10 (possibly top 5).

Basically everything in this post is right.

Jonjo

I love Carrie Underwood but her X-Factor slot is rather odd (in my opinion).

Hopefully Rita's performance can push her to go Top 5!

Oh deary me. Gone are the days of Beyonce, Taylor, Gaga, etc

Taylor although one of the biggest stars at the moment hasn't really got anything to push the albums already a year old and sold very well she is on the 6th/7th single if she was to perform but likely wouldn't sell massive as I said album already 1 year and sold well

Unless Beyoncé has another suprise album then again what would be the point yes she got that naughty boy track but I'm guessing the 1d saga would put that one off

Gaga well she just not been that huge or barely releveant for 2 years plus

I'd love to see someone like Jack Garrett performing Weathered to see the reaction lol
Carrie who?

With Rihanna's album reportedly out in the next week or two, I wouldn't be surprised if they get her on for a performance soon.
Watch 'Before He Cheats' get rereleased AGAIN if this single she performs does okay.

Hopefully! It's a cracking tune. Has it ever charted in the UK?

Carrie Who?

She will probably peak lower than Cee Lo Green (#59)

Well she's very likely to get her highest charting track here ever so as long as it's above #98 or so, I'm happy

Radio 2 c-list does sod all so hopefully she's moved up next week!

What are you smoking?

Rita Ora, Cee Lo, One Direction, Little Mix, Ellie Goulding to name a few!
