FY is dull as dishwater and shouty all at the sametime-- Extreme floppage

I am glad to see this, not for Louisa or cos I hate Simon Cowell, but this was a lazy, dull song choice and it's good to FINALLY see their stranglehold broken as it will show the race for Christmas no.1 is back open.

 

I'm pretty sure this is the final nail in the coffin for the show after 2016 - falling ratings despite attempted revamps and now this...

I feel a bit sorry for Louisa, the song is not that bad, she deserves at least a top 3 (but not number 1)

Biography

Michael Omari (born 26 July 1993), better known by his stage name Stormzy is an English MC who makes both grime and rap music. Stormzy won Best Grime Act at the 2014 MOBO Awards and was named as an artist to look out for in the BBC's influential Sound of 2015 list. Stormzy describes himself as "a child of grime" influenced by the likes of Wiley and Skepta, but also cites R&B singers such as Frank Ocean and Lauryn Hill as influences on his sound. I really cannot see the appeal of stuff like Stormzy at all, I guess it's just not for me.

Biography

Coldplay are a British rock band formed in 1996 by lead vocalist Chris Martin and lead guitarist Jonny Buckland at University College London. After they formed under the name Pectoralz, Guy Berryman joined the group as a bassist and they changed their name to Starfish. Will Champion joined as a drummer, backing vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist, completing the line-up. Manager Phil Harvey is often considered an unofficial fifth member. Neither of the X Factor singles could gain sales in the second week so it will fall out of the top 10 but I guess she will even fall out of the top 20.

Okay, I wanted to like Shut Up for the lols but it wasn't even like Lethal Bizzle or Skepta kind of fun :(
