I found it strange he was dropped. Maybe it all rested on Fester Skank going top 10? Even though it has proven an extremely popular song this year, it had everything going for it - radio plays, big video etc.

 

Shame because Playground was almost a certain top 40 with major label backing. R1 playlisted it even though he wasn't then signed which is a major achievement.

A campaign needs a good target and Biebs has stumbled into the crosshairs after Louisa fell flat on her face....

Really like the NHS choir song - refreshing to have "Fix You" covered! Would be a really nice Christmas #1 with the proceeds going to charity. Hopefully they'll have a really large lead in the coming updates - I think they'd need to push Bieber to 0.4-0.5 and sustain that for a few days to have a chance. Not too sure how it'll do on streaming, but it's on spotify so hopefully streaming won't be too much of a hinderance.

I think she's falling actually, the last time I looked she was higher than #9.

Wouldn't mind Bieber being beaten by The NHS Choir, raising awareness for the NHS is important right now with how the government are treating them. I'm sure Love Yourself can afford to step aside for the week and pull a Happy/Uptown Funk style chart run.

X Factor winners are not the kind of act where releasing a music video generates hype. It'd make no difference if she never released a video at all.

Fantastic achievement for Stormzy though - let nobody be in any doubt about that. An unsigned UK grime artist finishing above the X Factor winner just before Christmas is remarkable.

 

In what's been a huge year for UK urban music, this just might be the achievement that beats the lot. :lol:

Louisa's video will just be a montage of moments from the show; they're not that eventful.

NHS Choir only slightly pulling ahead in the latest update. Unless they have some sort of big promo push during the week I think Bieber will still safely be ahead, he obviously has an enormous streaming advantage and isn't THAT far behind on sales as of yet. NHS Choir could get the sales Xmas #1 I guess :P

I would agree with this, she is gonna be in a difficult position and I hope Cowell/Syco actually step it up and support her properly. The sh*t will most likely increasing hit the fan. Its started:
