The Anne-Marie one sounds basic and bland as anything :o

Agreed though, haven't been taken by any of the clips, but then they're releasing the ones that are with the names I don't know or aren't keen on tbf.

I hope two of their album tracks can enter the top 40 following the album release to determine what should be their next single
I'm hoping it'll be Mama to get Ellie a nice big smasha. Reet only has to wake up in the morning to score another hit.

Unless it’s Girls 😉

"Out at Night" is out and it's a BOP. Faith restored in this album

Whew it really is! I think I prefer it to all 6 singles even though they were all bops too.

‘Our At Night’ is surprisingly good! Does it sample Careless Whisper?

Edited by Connor.

Are you all serious?

Definitely the weakest for me. Oops.

Oh gosh, I’m worried I’m not going to like this album now after the build up it’s had! Out At Night is alright, I do like that post-chorus instrumental, but other than that it’s nothing amazing?

got the feeling the album is gonna bomb in the charts (sadly), wouldn't surprise me if it gores low top 20 or something

they should have released this right after Symphony

also read the saddest interview ever with them the other day, there was this bit about Ida Wrodlsen and how she wrote it, demoed, did everything, the band was super happy, everything was perfect and then the label came and vetoed it saying that Ida was not a big enough of a name, so she was vetoed and replaced by Anne Marie, forced into the song by the label (not her fault either), so Ida couldn't sing it even though she had written the song and was about her son and there band wanted Ida and fought for her for months but nada

just shows how horrible and merciless labels are

Oh wow :o

I had no idea how ruthless CB label actually was. I assume they're on the same label as Anne Marie then?

yes, thats why the label forced Anne Marie on Rockabye

I'll try to find it online cos it was kinda revealing. Grace from CB fought for Ida with the label but in the end the label won

"Rockabye" was written by Anne-Marie and Norwegian singer Ina Wroldsen. Wroldsen wrote the lyrics about her son, which, according to Grace Chatto, "is why it rings so true for [Clean Bandit] and is so emotional and special."[2]Ina originally provided the vocal for the song but at last minute was swapped for Anne-Marie. The band fought their label to get Ina on the records but failed. Grace described the situation a terrible experience and she almost quit the band because she felt "I did feel like I couldn’t do it any more because the idea that my business was hurting people … that was really painful. I went completely crazy for a while after that. I just had to carry on, but inside it was really hard.”[4]. Clean Bandit announced the single on 21 October 2016, just two days after Neil Amin-Smith quit the band

Would have been interesting to see how well it would have done with Ida instead of Anne Marie!

Wait why did Neil quit again? That makes it sound like this was the turning point for him and didn’t want to be part of the band anymore if they were supporting a cruel label

Ina has a wonderful voice I’d love to hear her demo
