Little Mix

Why are you shocked? It is going to be a huge hit on the charts.

99 Souls have built nicely, this is a nice little run for a fun mash up. Always great to get some DC and Brandy in the top 10
Streaming has completely killed my interest in the chart.

This. I was going off it anyway but now it feels like listening to the same 20 tracks weeks on end would be the definition of wasting your life.

Great to see the Tobtok version of Fast Car in the top 1500 as well :D

If anyone sees the Jolyon Petch version gimme a shout. :music:

I'm so mixed on streaming. Overall, the worst thing about it is how repetitive it can make listening to the chart these days.

How is Secret Love Song doing so well without airplay or a video? I mean, it's great, but, why now?

For any streaming debates, please go here rather than discussing it in this thread! :D

Capital have had it playlisted for a while!

Ella Eyre - Good Times being used heavily in an advert for Channel 5. One of my favourite songs of last year. Will be interesting to see how much it can climb
'Fast Car' now up to #42.

Also, original at #61+265 and the Tobtok cover at #588

the Australian chart currently has both covers of 'Fast Car' in it, Jonas Blue at #2 and Tobtok at #21. would be amusing if we had both versions being hits as well but somehow I doubt that will happen

Maybe it'll be like Sunset Strippers and Cabin Crew all over again?

Right down to me apparently being the only person who FAR prefers the version that's the lesser hit :( (I couldn't stand the pulsating bass of the Sunset Strippers version, which thankfully Cabin Crew's version lacked).

Jonas Blue's version of Fast Car is ok in a tropical house by numbers sort of way but the Tobtok does something much more interesting with the production and melody.

It's been used there for a while already, had no effect I'm afraid!

I preferred the Cabin Crew version too, Sunset Strippers sounded comparatively limp.

I've seen you post this SO MANY times before haha! I haven't actually heard either in years, I remember them being identical though, maybe my 15 year old ears were not functioning correctly, I shall have to listen to them again!

I remember this iTunes/chart predictions convo when those songs were released over a decade ago
The top version of Love Yourself has gone from 0.78 to 0.71 in just over 24 hours, impressive gain for Shawn today :cheer:
