Something about the lyrics to '7 Years' I just can't take seriously. Only heard it infrequently and mainly when at the gym but they seem too try-hard and over earnest for me.

I find them a bit cringey, and the song overall is really dull so it's not like it has anything going for it that would allow me to overlook the fact the lyrics are awful!

Can DNCE just go top 40 already? It's too good to flop.

I like 'Who Am I', but with a line-up of Katy B, Craig David & Major Lazer I couldn't have been the only one expecting a huge dance banger!

Yeah I expected more of it too. It's nice but I can't help but feel a bit disappointed as I was imagining Katy and Craig David on a song like Too Original or Light It Up :lol:

Yes! Completely agree- I wish it was “Honey” getting the single treatment. On my personal chart I've basically pretended “Honey” is the single. :D

Ah that's a good sign then! Guess it's still a few weeks or so until its impact date. Hopefully it'll be playlisted by BBC Radio 1 tomorrow or next week.

 

 

Who Am I is such a huge disappointment. It sounds like a filler track from Little Red. She can do SO much better.

 

I still have high hopes for the album though cos her debut album is absolutely flawless start to finish. Every track absolutely 10/10.

Not much lower, yesterday at #24, moved up 2 places with overtaking the fast declining Viola Beach too.

I'd like to see 'Out Of The Woods' at least chart, but it's gonna be so hard with this being a 6th single and sales without streams becoming a weaker format in the singles chart with every passing single she releases. :(
