I used to love Scream and Shout but now I only love it really if I here it at a party or something. When I give it a listen there is just something boring about it these days :(

I feel the same, it doesn't click with me anymore unless I'm at a party or club and they play it really loud.

Do Somethin' and Criminal are two of her weakest for me. Especially the former.

Omg Joe stahppp! Watch it repeatedly until you see and hear the error of your ways x

#27. Boys: 'The Co-Ed Remix' (Ft Pharrell) | Britney

Avg. 6.695

Highest Rates: 10: (River Lea, Addy King), 9.5/9: (Ivica, ***, harryflynn0908, blackout), 8.5/8; (Luciano, *Rob*, Casey, 152chris, #Cody Slayberry, Lukuzz, DionTheSats123, Jade, Jay, Kylie Jackson)

Lowest Rates; 2: (Mr Pmt, Beatrix Kiddo, Regina, PAJ88), 3: (Eyes)

At #27 is 'Boys', released in July 2002 and taken from her 3rd album 'Britney', In the UK it served as the 4th single, while in other countries it was released as the 5th single. Written and produced by The Neptunes (namely Pharrell Williams), and was originally meant for Janet Jackson, but she passed on it and instead Britney used it for her 3rd album. The song was also remixed from it's original form and titled 'The Co-Ed Remix' and added vocals from Pharrell Williams, and was therefore featured on the soundtrack to the 'Austin Powers - Goldmember' movie, where this followed Beyoncé's 'Work It Out', which was released first and funnily enough both of them star in the movie itself. (Well Britney cameo's). This is another song that has grown on me slightly through the years, while I do find the remix version, far better than the album version and Pharrell's verse does give it a boost a bit, and they do compliment each other quite well. This also does have that Janet Jackson influence to it and I do wonder what she would have done with it, but Britney does pull it off quite well and shows that she can do more, than just pop music. Upon release it failed to make any impact in the USA as did Beyoncé's 'WIO', neither of which cracked the top 100, peaking at a mere #122, but did fare much better in the UK with a #7 peak becoming her 11th top 10 hit there. Elsewhere it managed top 10 peaks in Belgium and Ireland, and top 20 peaks in Sweden, Australia, Denmark, Netherlands, Spain, Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

I've never been massively keen on Boys, good to see it relatively low. Criminal is quite underrated I think :(

Boys is one of my absolute FAVES.

I didn't vote in this though so can't really complain :')

Glad to see Ooh La La out last, haha.

Break the Ice / Slave / Gimme More to finish high plz.

Boys must be one of Britney's favourite numbers, since she's performed it on every tour from 2001 onwards.

#26. I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman | Britney

Avg. 6.797

Highest Rates: 10: (DionTheSats123, LushlifeLee), 9.5/9: (JoeyJeppssonWall, #Cody Slayberry, Lukuzz), 8.5/8: (Luciano, SamJudd, Ivica, River Lea, ***, harryflynn0908, blackout, Robot, Jay, Addy King)

Lowest Rates: 0: (Mackenzie), 2: (Mr Pmt, chart wizard)

At #26 we lose yet another 'Britney' era single, 'I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman', making this the 4th from that era to drop and leaving just 2 left in the running. Released in February 2002 as the 2nd single from her 3rd album, while internationally it served as the album's 3rd single. It also featured as the main theme to her one and only starring movie role 'Crossroads', which also featured another album track 'I Love Rock And Roll'. The movie was a box office success, raking in $61 Million worldwide, but was critically panned, earning her a joint Razzie award with Madonna for worst actress, as well as this song winning worst single. Now that is a tad harsh, as I do really like this song and it is considered a turning point in her life and career, showing a more mature side to her vocally. Also noted that it was the concept of this song that inspired the movie itself, while 'Crossroads' may not be very good, this song definitely is and personally find it rather beautiful. Upon release, like all the singles from the album it didn't find success in the USA by missing the top 100, peaking at #102, but fared much better in the UK, where it peaked at #2, becoming the album's highest charting single there. Elsewhere it reached top 5 in Austria, Sweden and Ireland, along with top 10 peaks in Portugal, Australia, Netherlands and Germany, then finally top 40 everywhere else.
I'm Not a Girl should be MUCH higher, I've been listening to it a lot recently and it's a lovely track :(
I love Boys; the album version and the similarity between the intro to it and the intro to Heaven on Earth makes my heart glow.
No big losses here, apart from Boys and S&S. Glad Buzzjack has similar taste to mine :P

#25. Sometimes | Baby One More Time

Avg. 7.036

Highest Rates: 10: (SamJudd, DionTheSats123), 9.5/9: (Johnjo07, Euphorique, JoeyJeppssonWall, Casey, #Cody Slayberry, Lukuzz, Addy King), 8.5/8: (Beatrix Kiddo, ***, 152chris, HausofKubrick, blackout, Robot, toxic air, Jay, Kylie Jackson, RiseR)

Lowest Rates: 1: (Mr Pmt), 3: (Vulker)

At #25 we have the wonderful and one of my personal favourite gems 'Sometimes', a classic pop gem in every sense from Britney's early days and wow she really does sound young on this track and proving that even back then her vocals can soar to the occasion. Released in April 1999 as the 2nd single from her debut album 'Baby One More Time' and what can I say, this was the perfect follow up to such an enormous smash debut hit. I bought the album the week that it came out and instantly fell in love with this track, straight away and was especially chuffed when this was announced as the 2nd single. Instead of repeating the formula, she went for something down tempo and more or less low key that therefore shows a different side to her back then. Sure it's bubblegum pop sound is rather dated and pure 90's, but who cares, I still love it. Despite getting one less rate, it still managed a decent score and managed several high rates, consisting of 2 10's, 7 9's & 10 8's. But there were 6 low scores that prevented this from gaining a higher place, which is kinda a shame, as personally I would have definitely placed it in my personal top 20 Britney songs. Upon release it became a chart smash by topping the charts in Belgium, Netherlands & New Zealand, while hitting top 5 in UK, Australia, Finland, Sweden & Ireland, as well as top 10 peaks in Austria, Germany, Italy and Switzerland. In the USA it managed to reach #21 based on radio play only and didn't climb any higher due to it not getting a physical release.

It's not one of my favourites, but I do really like Sometimes and wouldn't have minded it being a couple of places higher. There's been no major causality for me so far though.

#24. Radar | Circus

Avg. 7.095

Highest Rates: 10: (Luciano, ***), 9: (Mr Pmt, Johnjo07, Ivica, Ultraviolence1989, toxic air, PAJ88, RiseR), 8.5/8: (Eurhorique, Casey, #Cody Slayberry, blackout, Lukuzz, DionTheSats123, SevenSeize, Jay)

Lowest Rates: 1: (Jade), 4: (Regina, HausofKubrick)

At #24 we have 'Radar', which marks one of Britney strangest release's yet. It originally featured on her 2007 album 'Blackout' and was planned to be the third single, but was cancelled in favour of the much better 'Break The Ice' and was then scheduled to be the 4th release, but was scrapped entirely, when Britney decided to start work on her follow up album instead, where this was also added to as a bonus track. So it was finally released in June 2009 as the 4th and final single from 'Circus', a whopping 21 months after it was first featured and ended up performing poorly on the charts, which isn't a surprise considering it's belated release. Honestly this should have stayed on 'Blackout' and if it was released during that era, then this would have probably been a hit back in 2008. However by 2009 it's freshness had become stale and while it was a definite standout, to me it never screamed single. This did kinda end the 'Circus' era on a downer, which started off so well with 3 brilliant singles, and if there was gonna be another from that album, then why not 'Unusual You', 'Kill The Lights' or 'Amnesia', any one of those would have been great. Upon release like I said it performed badly by limping in the USA charts at #88, and becoming her first to miss the UK top 40, peaking at #46. Elsewhere it managed top 40 peaks in Ireland and New Zealand, and did manage top 10 in Sweden (back in 2008 as a download), but failed to make hardly any impression anywhere else.
but was cancelled in favour of the much better 'Break The Ice'

Lies. Radar is great and would've done better than BTI had it been the 3rd single from Blackout
