Sigala being at #3 is amazing!! I wouldn't have expected anything more for him considering just how huge the current top 2 are right now. He seems likely to keep his #3 position on Friday too. Well I guess it's called Good Friday for a reason :D

Adele looking like she may just scrape 20k this week however looks like this week will be the lowest selling number 1 of the year so far in the Albums!

Could Fifth Harmony push Sigala down to #4? Sigala's lead on them has decreased from 7.2k to 5.2k in one update. The lead is likely even smaller once missing streaming data is taken into account. They seem poised to overtake Sigala on iTunes by later tonight/tomorrow morning. Could be quite a close battle for the #3 spot once again this week!

fingers crossed for sigala retaining his top3 berth :) ~ shame blonde & craig david have slipped out of the top ten :snif:, although top15 is a decent start and with insta-r1 support there's every chance they'll climb in the coming weeks~ ^_^

Yeah maybe now new releases don't enter much at number one but in the 90's most of the number one's were newly released songs.

It was only mainly from the 1994-96 period that songs began entering at no1 before this time most songs rose to the top!

yes in the early 90s it was quite unusual to debut at #1... Love is All Around actually did 4-2-1... Everything I Do did 8-2-1 and I Will Always Love You ddi 12-4-2-1... think it all started to change with Take That who started to go systematically straight at #1 with each release... then by 96-97 everybody was starting to debut straight at #1 like every week...

Along with single cd prices moving up to an eye watering 2-3.99!! I blame Simon Cowell for all that lol!

Would appreciate the position of Elvis' 'If I Can Dream' album please.

I'm fearing it too, in fact I'd go as far as saying #5. Sigala, 5H and Zara are on track for 56k, 54.8k and 53.4k respectively and that's without missing streams being taken into consideration.
