Is 'Paradise' looking like it will be a big hit or not? I don't know anything about it's airplay/streaming or if it's been climbing or not. I heard it yesterday on a music channel and thought it was going to be a huge massive #1 and surprised it's only at #22, but don't know how long it's been available etc.

I have no clue about the 2nd question (Someone please answer this!!), but it's been released for a while- I'd guess nearly a couple of months!

I think people are just realising it's been released, and that's all. Similarly to The Girl Is Mine maybe, which had existing fans when it wasn't available for ages, who probably didn't realise it had finally been released for a while and then it gradually made its way up.

 

There really doesn't appear to be a cause at all so this is the only thing I could think of.

So odd to see 'Middle' still rising when I've heard it almost every day in Australia for the last half a year. Peaked at #5 over here.

When did it start climbing, Saturday? Surely something to do with BGT? Or is it still gaining? Loving this though. (unless sales are so low now that all you need is like 300 copies to go top 10 :lol:)

Ok so I wake up in Manhattan Beach to news that I am No. 9 in the @iTunes Chart and No. 36 in the @officialcharts Top 40.. WHAT IS LIFE ?! 😍

Dancing on My Own was released on the 2nd week of March, think it peaked just outside the top 40 initially, like #43 or something, spent a few days floating around #50 then started going down...

then it re-appeared last Friday morning in the top 100, climbed outside the top 40 by Friday evening, was into the top 40 on Sat morning and top 20 by Sat evening...

Yeah it spent the friday of release climbing and peaked really low top 40 then shot down if I remember correctly.

So happy to see Calum Scott doing so well, up to #8 now! I think this is released independently too? Last I knew he hadn't been signed. So good on him!

Maybe that's it. At least it has managed two weeks in the top 40. Capital need to push it too

I think it's more to do with not enough people liking it.

What was the point of Ministry Of Sound holding this back when it hasn't even gotten major support when it has finally been released? It's already smashed in several parts of Europe like Lost Frequencies' underperforming "Reality".
