Is this a first? Has an entire album ever been top 40 before?

I believe so? Unless Michael Jackson did it with Thriller on his death. It's the first time I've seen buying individual tracks of an album is cheaper than buying the album itself though (well it has an hour long film which is bumping its price up).

Absolutely amazed that Forward is doing so well and its 1min 19 seconds, i love it. I want a full 4 minute version!!
Formation climbed pretty fast to #2 but seems to not be progressing much today, stuck at 0.65, has gained like 10% all day, not getting any closer to drake
As much as I want Beyonce to get that #1 after the masterpiece that is Beyonce didn't, I'd like the tracks to fall, it just makes iTunes look a bit too messy for my chart geeky ways.

What kept "Beyonce" off #1?

I don't remember, it went in at #5 and stayed #5 the week after, I can't remember when it made it's eventual peak. *goes and checks*

Edit: It was that good for nothing Ellie Goulding.

Yeah I bought it on my phone and it would take up way too much memory for the video too, so I just got them all individually.

sure not Thriller when Michael Jackson died, he had less tracks than Prince and from all his albums... from Thriller, it was only Bille Jean, Beat It and Thriller...

Think I've made the decision to buy Freedom only. Big tune! (Only buying it because its not on apple music so theres an extra 99p she wouldn't have received).

This!

It's stopping growth of tracks like No Money, Close, and The Sound of Silence.

Well they've all pretty much come to a halt on Kworb now. It'll be interesting to see if they stabilise in their positions, or if they begin to fall now.
Will Formation make the top 40 on Friday?

I would imagine so. It's only lost 3 days of sales and has more or less no streams but I would say it would have enough sales to get it at least top 30
