Wow, 'Hair' made a greater first impression on me than the three previous Little Mix singles did! Glad it's already set to do well. 'Middle' being DJ Snake's highest-peaking song ('Lean On' aside) will take some getting used to but it's about time he and Bipolar Sunshine both had a properly big UK hit!

I wouldn't mind if this is somehow a trial to adjusting the format, favouring new & climbing songs and skipping the super long runners. Of course, it'd be easier to believe that if they didn't skip Desiigner :P

I doubt they're changing the format for good.

 

We should all petition for Radio 1 to play all the entries and climbers in the chart show, it's really not that difficult for them but they refuse to do it.

Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter (/biːˈjɒnseɪ/ bee-YON-say) (born September 4, 1981) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer and actress. Prince will hold strong in the album chart next week as Amazon and supermarkets etc are starting to get CD stocks in now. If I was in charge of Warners I'd rush release a career spanning Greatest Hits ASAP.

Really? Would have barely registered with me if I didn't look at the iTunes chart and been drowning in the number of Guardian thinkpieces that race out about her because... she's Beyoncé and any new album would do this because she has money and legions of fans.

 

Based on what I've heard today, seems a good/average album that barely deserves anything more than most other albums and her featured artists are doing most of the legwork when they're there (although I'll grant that Formation sounded innovative). It's obviously annoying for those of us who don't bow at her feet.

Hold Up grated on me a first, but it really is easily in the upper half of Lemonade, quality wise.

It was awful. She'll never get close to matching or bettering Crazy In Love.

The worst song from 'Lemonade' is Beyonce's highest new entry. 'Hold Up' is fairly dreadful.
