A real shame... I'm glad I got to see them live. Twice! Bloody amazing live act and have left behind one hell of a legacy!

OH :(

Bit of a shocker, although admittedly as far as Faithless go I'm still very much stuck in 2006 - Bombs is HUGELY under-rated and Music Matters utterly BEAUTIFUL.

This is a shame. I absolutely love them. <3

Agree with Shoat, 'Music Matters' is utterly beautiful.

:o I have to be totally honest and say I never really liked them apart from Insomnia but it's a shame they're splitting up. I always thought they'd just keep on going forever.

Hmm, I had no idea they were still going. Impressive that they managed to make what amounted to really one song last over a 15 year career.

Moody intro

Maxi Jazz raps about nothing in particular

Cut the music

Maxi Jazz says something 'profound'

Sister Bliss plays a one-fingered refrain

Bring beats back in

Repeat to fade

Still, it means they can reform for the festival circuit in a few years to bigger crowds ;)

The Dance was their best album - ever....and, as a fitting tribute, I thin they should release the best track, their best track in a decade, 'Sun To Me'... AWESOME track. Sad news.

YES YES YES. To All New Arrivals is the only Faithless album I own but it's fucking superb.

I did like Faithless actually, not a huge fan, I'd probably struggle to remember another song from them bar Insomnia admittedly, but still its a shame
Shame, but they went out on top i suppose and left a great musical legacy.

Shame. But if they feel it's finished, it's finished.

I only recently got into Faithless and I have 3 of their albums - Sunday 8PM, No Roots and Forever Faithless - The Greatest Hits. Not Going Home from The Dance is wonderful though, I want that album too!

A unique band.

I blame Tesco!

You stole my phrase.

It's the Tesco curse over here.

Anyway, SHAME, great fantastic group it was.

Yup, because 'Insomnia', 'Mass Destruction', 'Music Matters', 'Don't Leave', 'Bombs'... they all sounded exactly the same.

Lol exactly what I was thinking. Comparing Salva Mea to One Step Too Far to Muhammed Ali for example, and saying they follow the same formula is ridiculous.

Oh c'mon, I was kidding, of course they haven't done that for an entire career. Ok, 'Insomnia', 'Salva Mea', 'God is a DJ' and 'We Come 1' then...the hits that non-fans know about.

I will admit that a lot of Faithless stuff did sound very similar..... I always much preferred the music to Maxi's ramblings...... but, for any non-fans or casual listeners, you really should invest in The Dance - especially the '...Never Ends' remix bundle - it's cracking... and Sun To Me.... why this was only released as a single in, I think, Belgium.... bonkers - it's a huge stand-out track on the album.... in fact, I'd say it's my favourite Faithless song ever- and it sounds incredible on great speakers in a club or in the car - THAT bassline.... AWESOME....
