Boos already at Arsenal... Don't understand why Wenger is surprised the same groundhog season seems to be starting again. Nothing ever changes!

Think they're more annoyed about the fact they need to sign players and they haven't. Which I can see to a point. That said, they weren't even that bad today. Liverpool will do that to a few more teams this season, it's just the way we're set up these days.

Arsenal where 3-1 down at half time, they did well to recover though, still lost it though and at home, just one minor blip, they play Leicester next.

Wonderful to have the Premier League back :D and some brilliant matches to kick us off!

Not getting too carried away with United yet but it was a definite banana skin fixture averted. Let's hope we avoid a third straight 1-0 home defeat to Southampton in the season's first FNF this week.

Arsenal vs Liverpool already an early contender for game of the season, neither team seemed to bother about defending which made it a great watch. Never mind that Coutinho free kick that Mane goal was something else...

Not holding high hopes for tonight's match I imagine a pretty cagey & tight affair.

Would you get rid of Joe Hart if you were Pep Guardiola? Where would Hart go if he left?

Sunday was a treat after the somewhat underwhelming opening day.

Arsenal v Liverpool was a great match. Again could have gone either way.

Joe Hart is a weird one. Honestly, I don't think he's a bad keeper, but for sure he's become worse recently. Looks like the writing in the wall is there for him at City. I reckon he'll go out on loan somewhere in January then leave next summer. Guardiola must not rate him at all.
A couple blunders in the Euros doesn't suddenly make Joe Hart a bad 'keeper. I'm sure there are plenty of clubs who would be interested in signing him, although - if they are English clubs - they would probably not be in the Champions League.
He's not a bad keeper at all. I could see him if he left to Everton or Sevilla possibly.

As a Hull fan, I'd sign Joe Hart up and have him play in the centre of midfield. Or up front. Or at the back. Anywhere* really as we still (!) haven't signed anyone yet.

I really hope that Phelan gets the job. He deserves an enormous amount of credit for Saturday's performance and for how professional he has been when the shit has hit the fan over the past few months.

*not in goal though

Mahrez set to stay at Leicester City as he has signed a four-year deal.

Andre Ayew is out for 4 months and needs surgery after suffering an injury during the match against Chelsea. Gutted for West Ham's £20.5 million pound striker.

Yes that is rather unfortunate! They have a bit of history with buying players who get injured nearly straight away.
Not great for Ayew, must not be nice for the fella. Hopefully the tax payer will chip in £25m and enable West Ham to buy a replacement  :D

He'll have to wait to make his Premier League debut at the Olympic Stadium now, unlucky for him. Good thing that I didn't put him in my fantasy team last week because I almost did, I don't want any cheap deductions

Absolutely foaming at the vagina at the thought of not starting against Southampton with five at the back for no other reason than believing Ronald Koeman was 'up to something'.

GOD I MISS LOUIS

We can barely fill a back 4, back 5 might just require Jones or Rojo on the pitch *shudders*

Plus we'd have to drop a useful player up front because you just know he won't drop Rooney even if a cardboard cut out would be more effective.
