I'm so impressed by United so far this season, regardless of the results yesterday, you can't deny the URGENCY they had for the entire game to get a result against such a backs-against-the-wall side was commendable. Once again Rooney looked so much more confident than he has been in recent years.

Rooney had another bad game I thought. But then came up with a crucial assist. I'm seeing a pattern emerging with him.

IN OTHER NEWS, West Ham look dreadful.

Rooney 101: Be useless for 89 minutes and then in the final minute do one thing that makes everyone thinks you played far better than you actually did.
I thought United looked decent, although not sure they have come up against a great threat yet (say the same though for Chelsea and Man City). I am loving the overconfidence already, it will only make it sweeter once the inevitable couple of defeats happen! It was a good 3 points yesterday. Hull though got what they deserved when you take a striker off for a defender with 20 minutes to go - idiots!
How big do people think this weekend's Manchester derby is?

Seeing how Pep and Jose, as far as I know, will be butting heads on English soil for the first time, it'll be HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.......

Massive. The atmosphere's gonna be insane and if both teams' performances so far are anything to go by it could be a really tight game.

Rashford to prove the trump card between two evenly matched teams and managers?
I am so hyped for this. I cannot wait until Saturday. If I get stuck at the airport with their shitty passport queue delays I'm going to sue the home office for so much money the British government will owe me more cash than the f***ing Chinese.

I reckon it will be a cagey affair without too much free-flowing football and realistically has draw written all over it. I'm quite gutted that I wont be able to watch the match live but I'll definitely catch the highlights on Match Of The Day.
I'm with Paul Scholes here - hate the overhyped marketed Premier League!
The Manchester Derby has got 0-0 written all over it. It will be cagey and dour, Mourinho will not want to lose at any costs, so they will either fluke an early goal and play on the counter attack, or just be solid all game then maybe be a bit more adventurous in the last 15 minutes. I know Aguero will be a big miss, which probably.. just ever so slightly gives Man Utd the upper hand for this, with all the other factors in place.

Some bloke from Wigan made that up on Twitter. His name is George Weah's Cousin.

Theresa Mays budget deficit is safe as home office managed not to f*** up passport control today! Really looking forward to this! If it's a 0-0 bore fest I might actually fall asleep 😴
Credit to City for winning a fantastic game of football. The first 40 minutes we were tactically outclassed by Pep and the way they utilised their system. When Gundogan comes back they're gonna be a real force, well drilled but certainly not unbeatable. I saw enough from us today to show that we'll be alright.
That ref tho. Could do with a armoured car tonight like. Never felt 70,000 people direct all their hate at the same person before.
Other than the first half an hour in which we were absolutely dreadful, there wasn't a lot in that. Feared it would be a hammering at 2-0 down but thanks to some very dodgy goalkeeping we got back into it. Reason for optimism at the very least despite the result.
