I thought Send My Love would scrape the top 20 at at best. It's quite the achievement for a 3rd single off an album that 3+ million people already have to be potentially going top 5!

Maybe people just bought the album and didn't listen just because its Adele -_-

Viola Beach at #4 and #37 now - wow at how much effect the Coldplay tribute has had, looks like it might give them a second top 40 hit. Hooray for the invasion of Coldplay songs too, especially 'Up&Up' at #25 - hope there's still some chance of that going top 40 although I won't hold my breath. Guessing they're more likely to get the #1 album this week than Adele based on this impact.

 

Also I guess I'm late to this but Kanye West's 'Famous' is finally on iTunes and at #70 - I hope this is a sign he will eventually release the album on iTunes.

Why? Her album is cheaper, she's number 1 on Amazon and ITunes... They had a much better single effect but less album I guess, If theirs was discounted I was say it's a fair game but they will be top 2.

It would be wonderful if Up and Up can reach the top 40 for Coldplay, i understand the album is going to get a huge sales boost so that might affect the sales of up and up. It is most likely Adele and Coldplay will do battle for the number 1 album this week. I would regard myself a fan of both so i would be delighted to see both do well.

'Famous' also now has a music video, which is as controversial as you'd expect from Kanye (Taylor Swift in particular isn't happy with it :lol:) so that's gonna help get it back into the charts.
