September 20, 20168 yr Then she'll have Pitch Perfect 3 in Q4 2017 so it'll all fit very nicely - if she becomes as popular as she has the potential to be over the next year, hopefully they'll let her sing the main soundtrack song rather than get someone else to cover it like they did with Jessie J as she'll have the star power herself. The thing is, the difference between PP2 and 3 is that Hailee wasn't even marketed as a pop star when #2 was released (hell, "Love Myself" wasn't even released then), and only when it came out was there a demand for solo Hailee material (kinda like Anna's rendition of the cup song leading to stuff like Into The Woods). Now with her becoming more established in the business, especially with "Starving" becoming this sleeper hit, I can see the movie producers sliding Hailee into the soundtrack (since most of it will be her + others anyway, spoilers if you haven't seen the ending yet). I think this might be a discussion for another time. I see this peaking around mid-November with a follow-up in the works for a January release, which will probably lead to a spring album debut. She might work with Grey again idk.
September 22, 20168 yr Author 43slUlACaEs She has come on so much as a performer just in the space of 3 singles, loving the slickness of this performance and great to see Hailee doing some choreo!
September 27, 20168 yr Video is out! xwjwCFZpdns Not massive on the video but this song is brilliant, it's much better than the overrated 'Love Myself' imo, quite a cute song despite the suggestive lyrics  I'm glad it's shaping up to be a hit for her  Edited September 27, 20168 yr by Rob S
September 27, 20168 yr I really don't get why this is doing things for her when Love Myself should have been her huge hit :( This is average at best imo.
September 27, 20168 yr Fantastic to see it finally having a video! I hope this songs success will mean that Love Myself could possibly get a worldwide push like Lush Life did.
September 27, 20168 yr I really think 'Rock Bottom' is better than both, although it is a bit of an 'I Knew You Were Trouble' rip off.
September 27, 20168 yr Agreed with Aly. 'Rock Bottom' > 'Love Myself' > This, but all three are great and it's good that she's getting recognition now. Surprised (but pleased) it's been such a big streaming force in the UK though!
September 27, 20168 yr 1. Starving 2. Love Myself 3. Rock Bottom All are really quite good though, I didn't show Rock Bottom nearly enough attention at the time!
September 30, 20168 yr This has really wormed it's way into my affections. Not in the least bit surprised it's shaping up to big, it could easily be a new Chainsmokers track, very on trend. Yeah, I do probably prefer Love Myself but they're two totally different approaches, both of which have been successful in trying to achieve the sound they were going for.
October 12, 20168 yr I've quite liked this ever since release but this has completely hit me over the last couple of weeks, absolutely in love with it right now
