That would be amazing! The #2 peak is so annoying considering its performance <_<

Adele coming for that 14th week :yahoo: MO should get their first Top 40 hit by Sunday and seriously can Calum or Jonas get a surge in streams and snatch the #1!

Indeed! I seem to recall a week in April being set to have sub 10k sales at #1 and Beyonce released her album out of nowhere, although of course Prince's death happened as well which boosted what would have been a very low sales week.

Indeed we've only went down to 10k with the Lumineers - but no doubt before Septembers big releases Come we will see this again as this is usually the quietest time of the year!

One of the big pluses of the low Sales week in the Album chart is the unpredictability of it.

Wednesday's update had 4 Albums within 2k of the top (even Drake is within touching distance of number 1, I don't think he will make it but there is a tendency for a high percentage of Album streams to be added late and you never know whether a boost from a Video or something similar could change things ).

It would be a bit ironic next week if the release of the Video for "One Dance" gave the Album a boost to return to the top just at the point the Single is (hopefully) moving off the top...

Any Olly Murs update since Monday?

Fall from 14 to 30 was quite big, wonder if he has moved up slightly??

From MW, in regards to Wednesday's update:

According to Official Charts Company midweek figures, One Dance (which is again No.1 on the midweeks), has chalked up more downloads so far this week (11,854) than at the same stage last week (9,172), going someway to make up for a slight dip in streams, which are down from 2.5 million to 2.4 million week-on-week.
SIGH @ Britney flop.
SIGH @ Britney flop.

It's been out less than a week. Radio play building, despite Radio 1 snubbing it again. And the video isn't even out yet! It will climb, I'm sure of it. :P

SIGH @ Britney flop.

Ikr  I don't know why I got my hopes up, the British public have the worst taste :(

I just hope she releases the album on a week like this so she can have a chance at finally getting a #1! :w00t:

Just got the Michael Kiwanuka album on Google for 99p.

Bound to sneak the #1 album then ahead of Adele.

There was a Spotify banner for Michael's album too which will help; I think he could keep hold of the #1 actually!

Can't blame his record company trying to secure the #1 seeing as Adele was poised to take over. Might be to late though?
