The video just highlighted how quick the song is. She'd probably have been better off doing what the Gaga of old would have done with an 8 minute video and crammed full with ideas, just to bulk it out.

Still loving the song but oh my god that video is horrible to watch in parts, half of it is decent but the crowd bits with that camerawork are an attack on the senses lol, hated it :(

I'm thankful she's not doing 9-minute pretentious videos anymore but this video isn't much better. The editing was not really my cup of tea.

 

I also finally came to the decision I don't like the key change but at the same time the last minute of the song is the best part.

I actually love the video. It captures the essence of the song really well and it was a sensible move on GaGa's part to NOT go down the 10 minute video full of gimmicks route. Also, it's easy to forget that under the crazy make up, wigs and costumes that GaGa is actually HOT. :lol: The video isn't a game-changer or anything but she still shows her wackiness in some parts - like driving crazy in the desert etc.

 

I think for "classic GaGa" fans it won't impress but maybe it was more for the GP. After all, the long videos and theatrics caused a backlash after a while so maybe this method is a long-term plan in getting the GP to like her again? :unsure: Anyway, I think the video did the job well.

With that horrid editing and it being so abrasive if this video was meant to get the GP back on her side over pleasing her fans then it couldn't be further away from achieving its goal.

I have to disagree. I think the video suits the song perfectly. There's nothing worse than a high-energy intense song getting a dull and mismatched video.

Yeah, I think the video actually does match the song well. But that is no real compliment. The song makes me wince and turn my volume down for the last minute. The video made me squint and recoil because the camera swishing was making me feel a bit nauseous. Certainly matches the manic feel of the whole song though.

 

But, that was my 4th time hearing it and anyone who said this is a grower was sadly mistaken. Somehow seems to irritate me more now than ever :lol:
