Posted August 7, 20168 yr It seems like 'Better' will be released as the third single from Thank You :o This is one of my least favourites on the album :/ It's pretty commercial I guess so it should do well for her.
August 7, 20168 yr Hmm I guess it's probably her best shot at a hit but it's not my fave on the album! Hopefully we can still get Kindly Calm Me Down as a winter single.
August 7, 20168 yr Yes! I love this song  I love the chilled feel of the song for the late Summer/ Autumn release.
August 8, 20168 yr Hope this can do something for her and we can pretend that the #84 smash 'Me Too' was a blip/buzz single!
August 8, 20168 yr Great choice, one of my favourites on the album, I prefer "Champagne Problems" and "Mom" but this is a better single choice than the latter at least  And I dream of "Kindly Calm Me Down" getting a push in time for a performance on X Factor.
August 8, 20168 yr Yeah this is pretty much the best chance of a late summer hit, it's got the right vibe. It's one of my favourites also so I'm very glad, it really suits her voice.
August 9, 20168 yr Me Too did okay in the US. Not her best single and limited promo. Better is such a great song. I just wish it was longer.
September 3, 20168 yr I'm reluctant to call this her best ever as it sounds absolutely nothing like a Meghan Trainor song, though I guess fits nicely with her relentless campaign of self-love. Besides, the preceding singles were both tunes and are infinitely more representative. Also I agree that 'Better' feels too short, and the rap feature's properly horrendous. I just adore that airy chorus though. <3
September 15, 20168 yr Wait at this being the best thing she has done and not a disgrace Edited September 15, 20168 yr by blacksquare
September 16, 20168 yr Really like the video, the song just keeps growing as well  Definitely among her best for me.
September 16, 20168 yr I wrote this off, just thought it was a bandwagon jump to the tropical/reggae sound feat. rapper as seen with All In My Head, Side To Side etc that completely goes against Meghan's usual sound. However, the video does a fantastic job of selling it - it is probably my favourite single of the era as a complete package. That said, the whole 'Thank You' era is such a massive step down for me - I loved the 'Title' era.

I'm finding the music videos too mundane as well.
