Yeah, it is very boring, but then again I'm a boring person so it's only right that I like it :magic:

So are you of the assumption that anyone who doesn't like the song is an immature gay holding what he said 3 years ago against him?

I don't like it because it's pretty poo tbh.

I've seen some comments to that effect, but no I don't assume that everyone dislikes it for that reason

Surprised but very happy to see James Arthur's new song doing so well! Hopefully it'll prompt BBC Radio 1/2 etc to playlist it.

i cant wait for years and years new song tomorrow

they will be in bbc breakfast and capital morning show

Literally 0 promo. Shawn Mendes said in an interview about how James Arthur was his idol, though.
Is Shawn Australian? (ICR) If so, 'Impossible' was a monster hit over there iirc, so it's wouldn't be as odd as you'd first think, him stating that haha!

Canadian!

:kink:

Oops.

He said it was primarily because he's an avid fan of the UK X-Factor, and supported him since the start on there. Didn't expect him to be a James fan of all people.

At the moment I'm not wowed by the James Arthur track but I really want him to do well. As a gay man I could be immature and continue to judge him for something that happened 3 years ago, but instead I'd rather accept his repeated apologies and move on...

Wouldn't anyone apologise and beg forgiveness if they found out most of the country hated them?

Yeah the gay slur was a little blip in his otherwise sunny personality.

James Arthur moved top 5 on itunes. Is this the big un-expected surprise of the year.

to be quite honest, as much of a surprise this is, the success of I'll Be There by The Neales is undebatedly the best chart surprise of the year

I think that was a bit too much of a surprise :')

i literally refreshed the Online Radio webpage because i thought it'd glitched and changed to Radio 2 !!

what a spammer!!1 two posts consecutively !!!1 anyway, Fade by Kanye has been silently rising for the last few days - on the verge of the top 20 right now, looks as though it could be the second top 40 hit for him from T.L.O.P - I assume this is mostly due to the immense support Radio 1 have been giving it. i have no doubt it'll have no trouble in amassing streams so hopefully it could be a bit hit in due course.
After seeing his chart performance James Arthur is probably at home now drinking his W K D thinking "blimey I thought people hated me?"
