April 7, 20214 yr Author I think Billie Kay and Carmella will get added to #1 contender tag team match for night 1 of WrestleMania but Bayley will attack Billie Kay before the match takes place and will be the one to tag with Carmella instead which will lead to them winning on night 1 & 2 of Mania. In the match involving Bad Bunny I expect Damien Priest to do practically all of the work and it will essentially be a handicap match but it will end with Priest hitting his finisher on The Miz and then tagging in Bad Bunny to do a dive off the top rope and pin Miz for the win.I'd rather Billie "recruited" Bayley to be Carmella's partner and the 3 of them become some kind of stable. Also, don't under estimate Bad Bunny. He's been training HARD for the last 3-4 months apparently. He even moved to Orlando right near the Performance Center so that he could train. What's strange is that ultimately night 2 of Wrestlemania is leading to heel vs heel women's tag team championship :unsure:That's what's making me think Riott Squad could actually do it. Liv & Ruby will be over with the crowd and it's been a long time coming for them. I can't see them having a long reign though, especially with how strong they're booking Natalya & Tamina.
April 8, 20214 yr Author Sasha & Bianca are main eventing. April 10, 20214 yr Author Sasha and Bianca Main Eventing tomorrow officially confirmed :D ! @1380657765404839939I'M SO SO HAPPY! Sasha has been manifesting doing just that since she wanted to become a wrestler. This is the first PURE WWE full time talent main event (i.e. no part timers (Brock/Goldberg/Taker) or no "big name" (Ronda)) since Cena vs The Miz, apparently! That's insane!
April 11, 20214 yr WrestleMania has gotten off to an incredible and historic start thanks to mother nature!
April 11, 20214 yr Author Overall I was impressed. I'll properly rate when I've actually had some sleep.. butttt Sasha and Bianca absolutely SMASHED that main event. The only criticism I had is that it easily could have been another 5-10 minutes! Incredible. So, SO proud of Sasha. Truly the GOAT imo.
April 11, 20214 yr Author My ratings and comments about Night one: Starting off with the entire roster and Vince welcoming the fans back was the PERFECT touch. 01. Bobby Lashley (w/ MVP) vs Drew McIntyre 3.25 out of 5.00 Very surprised at how much I low-key liked this lmaooooo. Ugh. It was a solid match and probably their best encounter. But I feel like that was heavy on the crowd and them just really revelling in that moment. Not a match I'll go back to because I don't like any of them. Very surprised at Lashley retaining! Glad Drew didn't win! This match would probably have rated higher had I liked any one of these men more. --- 02. Tag Team Turmoil Match 1.75 out of 5.00 Absolutely DEVASTATED at how much this match... SUCKED. Just awfully messy right from the start! Liv was the mvp of that match. She is improving a LOT each and every time she appears. Had Natalya & Tamina winning from the get go, so that wasn't a surprise to me. I imagine they're winning the tag titles. A shame coz I'm enjoying this ShayNia run (ignoring how poorly booked Shayna is... ugh. --- 03. Cesaro vs Seth Rollins 3.75 out of 5.00 Much like Lashley vs Drew, I don't particularly care for either one of these 2, I can take or leave them. Cesaro has insane strength but take that away what are you left with? A bland, Create-A-Superstar esque that's just uppercuts, swings and a couple of slams (to show off his strength)... he's so dull as a character. I will never get why he's such an IWC fave, but he deserved that win and moment, coz it's clear I am in the minority. Seth is really talented but idk... there's something that doesn't click with me and I can't tell what it is lmao. Enjoyable match though, the crowd were great and again, is a huge part of the reason as to why I liked it so much. --- 04. New Day vs AJ & Omos 3.50 out of 5.00 I feel like this was the perfect exposure to Omos? It worked very well for him. I'm kinda surprised they actually had AJ & Omos win though... but I guess AJ wants it all before he ends up leaving/retiring. Very fun match. New Day are the PERFECT crowd pleasers. They get everyone going SO well. Less is more with Omos. I wouldn't like to see him do full matches, but utilising him this way is great... for now. Lol. --- 05. Shane McMahon vs Braun 2.25 out of 5.00 The match was just as bland as you'd have expected. But the spots were so much fun! That last 3 minutes or so... I was IN to it. Lmao. That spot where Braun rips the cage open was a really fun spot. But otherwise... meh. Nice "toilet break" match. --- 06. Bad Bunny & Damian Priest vs Miz & Morrison 4.00 out of 5.00 This was BRILLIANT. The crowd were FULLY into it and Bad Bunny absolutely KILLED IT. The very best pure celebrity appearance in WrestleMania HISTORY imo. He worked 90% of that match... SO impressed. Just an absolute joy to watch and he has some of the best and most convincing punches in the entire game! I wasn't too huge on Damian in NXT (just saw him as a slightly better Corbin), but his build on the main roster has been absolute FIRE. He's great! --- 07. Sasha Banks vs Bianca Belair 4.75 out of 5.00 Not a 5? ONLY because: A) I feel like they could have gone 5-10 minutes longer, so kinda felt like it was being rushed a tad. and B) We should have seen Bianca revelling in her moment. otherwise... THAT was outstanding. The start where they were taking in the moment was incredible. Sasha is the absolute best person to get her opponents over. Am I sad that Sasha is now 0-6 at Mania? Sure. But this match made me realise that she didn't need that win so much and can survive without it (plus if and when they want to they can use it in a story). Absolutely Bianca's greatest match to date, my only concern with Bianca is... is it all too much too soon? Everything ran SO SMOOTH between them both. That DDT move was insane. That dive (Sasha's best ever dive!), roll up and gorilla press up the stairs was a MOMENT. Sasha utilising and using Bianca's hair to PERFECTION and it leading to her downfall... incredible. SPEAKING OF... THAT SOUND OF THE WHIP!!! HOLY SHHHHHIIIIIIITTTTT! Just a masterclass of in-ring psychology and Sasha perfectly being the Tweener to Bianca's pure babyface... Amazing. AMAZING stuff. One of the very best WrestleMania main events in a long, LONG time. The PPV was so much fun, despite all the hiccups! It felt really odd to have a crowd again, but once it got going it was really, really nice seeing them back and just having their presence felt! Probably the most I've liked a Mania PPV in a while!
April 11, 20214 yr It was a good show last night, the only poor match was the tag team turmoil match which looked messy and had a number of botches in it. My favourite match was Cesaro Vs Seth and the finish in particular to that match with Cesaro balancing Seth on his head & shoulders while spinning around in a helicopter motion before hitting some swings and his finisher. I was very surprised with how Bad Bunny performed in the tag match against Miz & Morrison, the training that he's done in the last few months really showed and to see him performing a Canadian destroyer was unreal. I really thought Bobby Lashley would lose the title so it was surprising to see him retain but it also makes me wonder why The Hurt Business had to break up. The main event was good but when Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks started crying before the match began it made it a bit hard for me to get fully into because it telegraphed the eventual result of the match and made it harder to suspend my disbelief.
April 12, 20214 yr Night 1 was a lot better than night 2 however the finish to the main event was awesome. Glad that Roman Reigns is still the Universal champion, Asuka made to look like a chump once again.
April 12, 20214 yr The Fiend, Alexa and Orton match/thing getting slaughtered online last night lmao. I suppose Alexa is sister abigail. Sasha and Bianca & Bad Bunny match were excellent. The former will deservedly be a MOTY contender if not winner. They didn't disappoint whatsoever. Edited April 12, 20214 yr by Roba~
April 12, 20214 yr Author My ratings and comments about Night two: 01. The Fiend vs Randy Orton 1.50 out of 5.00 WTAF WAS THAT? 3-5 months of this feud and THIS is the pay off in front of a crowd? Awful. Very happy Orton won, but that was abysmal. Probably worse than their first encounter at Mania a couple of years ago. --- 02. Shayna & Nia vs Natalya & Tamina 3.00 out of 5.00 Tamina getting so much support was SO heart warming to hear for her. A solid match up between the two teams I think. I definitely thought Natalya & Tamina were going to win though as they'd been heavily pushed in the build up to this and honestly, hearing that reaction towards Tamina it would have been a beautiful moment for her. Surprised but really happy that Shayna was the one to get the win! I feel like they're gonna start building her up again now, ready to dethrone Rhea or Charlotte in a couple of months. --- 03. Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn (w/ Logan Paul) 3.50 out of 5.00 We've always known these two can deliver when needed. I think the lack of actual build and story hurt this match slightly. These two are best when they're more "personal" with each other. This definitely seems like it's one of 2 things... 1- Just a random thrown together story for the sake of giving them something to do or 2- Giving these two that Mania match together coz one of them (and I have a feeling it's not who everyone would think - Sami) is ready to leave. But idk. I'm inclined to believe the 1st option more tbh. Solid match though, would've just liked a bit more grit I think. Logan Paul was utterly pointless lmaoooo. Like wtf? He sold that stunner perfectly though omg. --- 04. Matt Riddle vs Sheamus 2.50 out of 5.00 Didn't do anything for me. Just happy that Sheamus actually won. :) --- 05. Big E vs Apollo 2.50 out of 5.00 This was low-key underwhelming. They had probably the strongest story (with Bad Bunny/The Miz) going into Mania, but idk... that match just kinda fell flat for me. I'm a fan of both of them, but something didn't click with me. I like that Apollo seems to be getting a push though. --- 06. Asuka vs Rhea Ripley 2.75 out of 5.00 This was really oddly paced... I just struggled to get into it. I'm struggling to get properly into Rhea. I find her quite cold to watch and get next to no feelings watching her. A couple of cool spots (the DDT to outside was nice), but that ending was so abrupt and kinda... "oh. Ok" and anti-climatic. Disappointed - but the ironic thing is, this is still better than every single Charlotte Vs Lacey match that happened so I think this is still a higher score than what was originally supposed to be. --- 07. Roman Reigns vs Edge vs Daniel Bryan 4.25 out of 5.00 This was a very good match that relied a bit too much on weapons (but that's fine). I think inserting Daniel into this match was the best call. I really don't think one of those "methodical" and slow Roman Reigns matches would have worked with a live crowd there, which is what I assume would've been had it been a 1 on 1. Another major put off for me was the involvement of Jey Uso... I'm really getting tired and just.. BORED of him in this Reigns storyline now. I get it "he's a heel, you're not supposed to like it", but can you imagine if they'd kept Reginald in the story of Sasha vs Bianca and he kept getting involved in the match itself? No thanks. LOOOOVED the double crossface. Not sure Reigns winning was the right call or not, I'm swaying towards no, but we'll see where they go with it. But yeah, the main event delivered in a way the main event should. Imo it wasn't as good or as "impressive" as Sasha vs Bianca from night 1, but still one of the best Mania main events. Night 2 on the whole was slightly lackluster. Was it deflation due to how (surprisingly) solid the 1st night was? Maybe, but something felt a bit "eh, this will do" with the winners and this night overall, imo. Night 1 felt a lot more historic and more important, I think. I think night 2 could've just been a standard, strong BackLash PPV or something, but at least it delivered where it was supposed to... in the main event. WrestleMania 37 in general... I think it was a success. If we're looking top to bottom, one of the strongest WrestleMania's in a while I think. It was nice having the fans back and I can't wait until it's a consistent thing again. I really miss the interaction.

April 12, 20214 yr Wouldn't surprise me if Becky Lynch returns tonight. She was rumoured to be part of the angle with Bayley last night but got scrubbed for a stupid reason apparently.
April 12, 20214 yr I've just realised that Bianca Belair is the only champion on the main roster who is a face
April 12, 20214 yr I guess there's R Truth as well but that title isn't taken seriously so probably don't count.
