April 13, 20214 yr I would also agree that it was the worst post WrestleMania Raw ever. The worst part of last night's show was Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke running away from Nia Jax during their tag team match and getting counted out but still having their theme music getting played as if they won the match and then Byron Saxton saying on commmentary that what they did was better than beating Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler. The new guy that joined them on commentary sounded jarring throughout the show as well.
April 13, 20214 yr Sasha vs Bianca was such a moment . I felt so proud watching them especially as a black person as well was a perfect main event !
April 15, 20214 yr WWE have just released some superstars. Both Billie and Peyton are gone as is Mickie again and... Samoa Joe (presume he chose not to renew his contract) The rest are Kalisto, Bo Dallas, Tucker, Wesley Blake & Chelsea Green. Â I don't think they are done. Edited April 15, 20214 yr by Roba~
April 15, 20214 yr Author Billie Kay, Kalisto, Mickie James, Peyton Royce & Samoa Joe are the top ones that have been released. Billie and Kalisto are surprises to me because they were on a roll recently. Billie with her whole character and Kalisto's recent backstage video promos were amazing. Peyton got very sloppy in ring recently, but there's still bags of potential to unfold with her. Mickie... kinda not surprised. She's not been used for a long, long time. But that's a huge shame. Samoa Joe is the biggest, but it looks like he didn't re-sign as I am gonna guess WWE wouldn't clear him to wrestle. The rest are probably happy to not be in catering anymore and can find somewhere to actually be utilised and get to wrestle each night. Wouldn't surprise me if all of the above, except Kalisto, requested their release and were granted it. But we won't find that out unless they decide to share.
April 15, 20214 yr Mojo Rawley has been released as well and there will probably be more to come. It's history repeating itself once again on April 15th. This will likely turn out to be good news for some of these people, Tay Conti from last year's releases is a prime example of this. She's the #1 contender for the AEW Women's Championship at this present moment exactly a year after getting fired by WWE.
April 20, 20214 yr I guess I should have seen the PPV name coming as Backlash was back in the past just a repeat of many matches ugh but it really shows in the last week. Raw last week and Smackdown were so uninteresting :( Â Also Simon when were you thinking of doing the women's rate? I don't think it matters whether Billie, Peyton, Chelsea and Mickie have been released as I'd still want to rate them regardless and I know you'd be including the first two anyway :lol: Edited April 20, 20214 yr by Roba~

It just felt like a weaker normal episode, when they should have capitalised on Mania hype and had call ups and SHOULD NOT have started with the same Roman promo that opens EVERY SINGLE SD! Should have opened with Bianca's celebration imo as that woulda set the mood and been a change of pace from heel Roman opening a show that should be a WrestleMania celebration.
May 4, 20214 yr That's terrible, I'm getting the impression they are trying yet again to include the women's divisions more. It's just there's nothing there outside the titles? Can no one really think of any storylines? Billie Kay's resume was the only one not title related in ages, last other than that would be Sonya/Mandy?
May 4, 20214 yr Author More women were on RAW last night, despite the short match times apparently. Jason Jordan took over as top creative or something last week I think, so I think we're gonna see more women over the next few months.

Especially Raw, this weeks was awful. The only standout this week for me was the Xavier Woods match and that they must be serious about Tamina/Natalya as they've new trons and merch.

I don't think Vince cares to be honest, he has been so stubborn for a long time which is part of the reason why he's got Reginald at the centre of everything to do with the women's division on Raw & Smackdown. I don't think many people want to see him involved in those storylines but Vince doesn't care about any of that. Raw has been very boring since the weeks leading up to WrestleMania but it's got even worse after Mania. Smackdown is better than Raw but that is mainly because of the tribal chief Roman Reigns and everything connected to him.
