Toni Storm just got released :( I guess we should have seen this coming really as she didn't exactly pull in positive reviews in her matches with Charlotte this month.

Roman out with Covid for the foreseeable, Drew injured and Brock winning the opposite brands title lmao. 2022 certainly throwing things off unexpectedly.

One thing that has come out of this all.... Lesnar v Lashley is imminent after not looking like WWE was ever going to do this match.

There's a good chance that Roman Reigns could keep the Universal Championship for the whole year again just like 2021, unless if they do a Championship unification match between him and Lesnar. I feel bad for Big E losing the WWE title in the way that he did and his whole reign as champion never really felt special and like he was the main person in his storylines.

Royal Rumble tonight. Ronda Rousey is expected to make her return in the match. It's been reported on so much that one would think it kills the surprise element somewhat.

Anyway I'm actually hyped for Lashley and Lesnar, as much as I'm not overly fussed on Bobby.. this is a huge deal after it was seemingly never going to happen.

Looking forward to the rumbles too obviously and Seth and Roman should be good too.

I'm looking forward to those matches as well. The whole card makes it looks like it could be a potentially very good event, the only match that doesn't look to good on paper is the mixed tag match between Edge/Beth Vs Miz/Maryse. I think one of Roman Reigns or Brock Lesnar will lose their title tonight and then go into the men's royal rumble match and win. If Ronda Rousey does actually return tonight then she would be the most likely winner of the women's rumble match. I expect Austin Theory to do quite well given the push he's been getting recently.

Well that was mostly a rubbish show. Brock and Lashley lived up to what I expected and Seth/Roman was good except for the stupid finish.

Both Rumbles were mostly naff too especially the men's. Candidate for one of the worst rumbles imo. No surprises at all not even Bad Bunny or Shane saved it and stupid eliminations like AJ chucked out by MADCAP MOSS of all people (I like him in ring and all but seriously?!) and Kevin eliminated by Shane. Also no Finn or Cesaro in there is a shame. I really believe those two will be released soon.

Women's was a major sloppy mess as well, half arsed and not much excitement. Sasha out early must have been cause of injury awareness but still ridiculous. We could have done without Kelly and Alicia in there and replaced with someone like Kaitlyn who was rumoured or a NXT star like Io or a return from Asuka or Alexa ugh. Xia Li like Cesaro and Finn likely getting cut soon as she's suffering from inconsistent booking after being hyped up with that protector gimmick.

What a shambles overall.

I actually thought the women's rumble was quite good until Ronda Rousey showed up and then it became 100% obvious who was going to win. There were some good narratives in that match such as Naomi's former tag partner Cameron getting eliminated by Sonya Deville who got eliminated herself by Naomi. Rhea Ripley eliminating both Zelina and Carmella which is linked to the feud they've been having, there was the superhero gimmick thing between Nikki Ash and Molly Holly as well. It was pretty much from when Ronda entered that it went downhill a bit.

Seth Vs Roman was good for the most part and I enjoyed Seth making his entrance with The Shield music and through the crowd but I didn't think a DQ finish was right. The other matches besides the men's Royal Rumble went exactly how I thought they would go. The men's royal rumble was poor as a lot of people have said. No major surprises, too many midcard wrestlers and a terrible botch from Kofi Kingston which was rounded off with a predictable winner in Brock Lesnar.

Scott Hall aka Razor Ramon is about to be taken off life support after suffering multiple heart attacks according to Kevin Nash. Kevin Nash said that once Scott Hall's family are in place his life support will be discontinued. This is very sad news, he's had his health problems for a large part of his life but it seemed for a period that he was improving. It will be a devastating loss once the inevitable happens.
His entrance music was one of the best and the ladder match against Shawn is rightfully regarded a classic. Just watched that after I read the update last night for the first time in ages.

I was confused at first as just before midnight there was still presumed reports of him still being alive but taken off the life support so it must have literally happened 10 minutes before Raw started or something. Anyway Rest in Peace Scott/Razor :( A very sad loss.

Tributes have been paid to WWE star Scott 'Razor Ramon' Hall, who's died aged 63.

World Wrestling Entertainment tweeted to say it was "saddened" to learn of his death, after reports of his ill health emerged at the weekend.

His friend and former wrestling partner Kevin Nash said on Monday Scott's life support would be "discontinued" once his family was "in place".

"I have to prepare my life without him in the present," Kevin wrote on Monday.

"I've been blessed to have a friend that took me at face value and I him."

Scott, 63 emerged in the 1990s alongside the likes of Hulk Hogan and Sean 'X-Pac' Waltman.

He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014.

RIP Scott/Razor

I remember him being Intercontinental Champion and his bling... Didn't realise he had problems until I looked him up today.

R.I.P. Razor.

The Undertaker is going into the HOF along with Vader and Queen Sharmell. Rumoured other names to be inducted are Steiner Brothers and Sycho Sid/Sid Vicious.

Night 1 of Wrestlemania was a mixed bag really. Didn't care for any of the first 3 matches then Becky and Bianca had a trumendous match with the Bianca winning which was the right call imo after Summerslam last year.

Cody returning with his AEW theme, entrance and tag line The American Nightmare was a pleasant surprise as I presumed he'd come to his pre Stardust theme. Solid match.

Ronda and Charlotte was absolutely terrible and apparently Ronda threw her toys out of the pram because she was told she wouldn't be headlining Night 1 of WM.

Austin v KO was *.* feels surreal seeing Stone Cold actually having a match for the first time since Wrestlemania 19 which happened to be my first Mania I was watching after not long watching wrestling. Amazing!

Night 2 card wise from top to bottom though sounds way more to my preference so looking forward to that more so.

This year's Wrestlemania was the best in years! So much fun across the two nights which is ironic given the poor build towards it. There were not many bad matches imo and tonight the Sami Zayn Vs Johnny Knoxville match was my favourite, one of the most fun matches I've seen in a long time. A poor finish to the main event with Roman getting a sudden win from a spear but overall it was a very enjoyable two nights of wrestling.

Yeah it was a bonkers match that but to be expected when Johnny spends a lifetime doing crazy stunts and dumb loopy stuff lol.

Both tag title matches were decent especially the opener. AJ and Edge was great too. Pat was good too. Vince taking that stunner  maybe time we retired Vince receiving that now unfortunately.

I've not seen Roman and Brock yet but yes it was a solid show. The raw women's match was easily the worst on there for me though across both nights and I guess you can't really rate New Day v Sheamus and Ridge cause it lasted 90 seconds.

Haven't watched much WWE for nearly two months but Cody worked through an intense injury to wrestle Seth at HIAC and winning a clean sweep in their feud. Sadly karma came with a price though as he's now out for 6 months.

Unfortunate but not a complete blunder to his return as when he re-returns they can quickly pick right back up with him and maybe have Cody win the Rumble next year.
