OMG 46 tracks and Hadji still thinks there may be disc space :drama:

You are forgetting that disc 2 on both 87 and 95 have 24 tracks and the majority of tracks on disc 2 on 98 are short. Correction, disc 2 has 3:15 of space so there was enough to include one more song

Imagine Katie Melua being on Disc 2 with those other tracks 😂😂😂
Was hoping that we'd somehow get one Taylor song

For some reason, there hasn't been a NOW album containing a Taylor track since NOW 85 (with "22")

For some reason, there hasn't been a NOW album containing a Taylor track since NOW 85 (with "22")

Ever since Big Machine left the Universal branch, Taylor's music is rarely seen on compilations. I don't know how the US team do it. Could be a budget thing.

Also, regarding Wild Thoughts not being on NOW 98. Rihanna's features or duets are now half owned by Rihanna. If you look at the copyright for "This Is What You Came For", it's actually a joint venture between Sony Music Entertainment (Calvin's label) and Westbury Road Entertainment (Rihanna's label). TIWYCF only appeared because licensing a Calvin Harris song is usually quite cheap and so they could put money into affording the Rihanna appearance.

Hope that makes sense to everyone.

Also, IF Rita gets to number 1 after Camila, will this be the first NOW album to open and close Disc 1 with number 1 hits? (Not including Charity or XF related)

Now 26 opened and closed disc 1 with number 1 hits

1, 9, 13, 14, 26, 48, 61, 62, 66, 69, 72, 74, 75, 81, 83, 84, 86, 87 and 93 are all the volumes where disc 1 opens and closes with a #1 single

Very disappointed with tracklist for both discs for Now 98. Might be the first one in a while which I don’t buy. I think it reflects the lack of total interest I’ve had in chart music this year!

Disc 1 - 01:18:22

Disc 2 - 01:16:45

Hadji is right, they could have added another song onto the end of Disc 2, not that they needed to though as 46 songs on a NOW set is quite generous.

“I Won’t Back Down” is 2:55 so they could have squeezed it onto the end of disc 2 as a tribute to Tom Petty. It annoys me when they cut songs down for no reason. Disc 1 would have still managed the 23 tracks even without “Havana” and “Dusk Till Dawn” being cut down. If they cut songs down to fit more on, fair enough

Interesting idea but some bizarre choices.

“Crazy In Love” would have been on the list instead of “Be Faithful” if Beyoncé licensed her tracks to compilations then again saying that, I would have picked “Beautiful Liar” instead of “Shine” if that was the case

I love that Ben Haenow is still vaguely relevant in South Africa  Something I Need and Second Hand Heart were both huge there.
