Does anyone know the biggest lead for a no.1 single on iTunes? LM obviously pushed James down to 0.2900 but I'm sure there's songs that have pushed the #2 down to much lower than that?

It could be Military Wives Choir in Christmas 2011, I don't know if there's any way of checking that though.

Emeli's performance isn't available on YouTube whereas Robbie's is on the main X Factor YouTube page, perhaps that's helping?

I can't say I paid much attention to either performance, but a lot of people seemed to be saying that Emeli wasn't at her best.

I thought Emeli was excellent :o her vocals sounded as great as always and I liked the staging too. Wish it was having a bigger impact :(

Yeah, Emeli was outstanding last night. One of the best I've seen her perform so no idea why it's made such little impact.

 

I feel like people aren't really here for her second era which is a shame. Hopefully the album can at least sell 500k or there abouts with the Christmas sales helping. Can't see it doing much more than that though in total.

Yeah, maybe a similar amount to Leona's Echo (690K) which would be a great success. Our Version of Events was so good, and so huge.

Yeah, I think Emeli Sande has probably waited too long. I could have seen Hurts being a smash around 2014 time. Will be interesting to see if a similar fate befalls Sam Smith.
