Thanks goodness Sam has gone. I didn't watch until the live shows but Jesus how did she make it this far? Just a terrible tone to her voice. Painful. Ryan was ok in the sing off, although the song was too big for him.

Saara by a country mile best act left.

Really low standard overall this year.

I think its heading towards a Matt, 5AM and Honey G final, with a Matt win, I think Emily will just miss the final 3.
I don't think Sam was THAT bad in the sing off, she is like a foghorn sometimes though and as I've said many times the way she isn't really improving shows that she needs a LOT more work. She should have entered in a couple of years but oh well. I feel like they are really pushing for a Ryan and Emily bottom 2, which could easily happen next week if she doesn't step up! Ryan's sing off was awful, but I knew he'd stay as soon as the bottom 2 was those two.
Also :o at the "top 2 have never been the top 2 before" - I missed the first bit of results and only just saw on DS. I think it could well have been Saara, on a very lacklustre night she absolutely smashed it and was undeniably the best by far. I think maybe 5am too, but I wouldn't be surprised if they won the vote last week tbh.
Did Honey G let slip that she's already got her song lined up for next week, even though the theme has allegedly only just been picked "at random" on the wheel of fortune? Oops

I would think Honey G has a song picked for every theme as her choices are extremely limited.

So happy Saara is still in, she was yet again brilliant this week. I will be shocked if Ryan doesnt go home next week.

I wonder if Saara is doing a Ruth Lorenzo/ Alexandra Burke?

Ohhhh the Fix Factor strikes 2ce in one neet

Well they know the themes already as it's jukebox so they could think about songs in their rooms? no?
I feel if Rise Up was going to be the winners single, that they will push Matt and Saara.
THAT RYAN DRAG ON X FACTOR IM FUVKING SCREAMING
What was said? :o

Saara is starting to drum up a lot of support, in a Little Mix sort of way and 'Who You Are' seems to have been her 'Don't Let Go (Love)' moment! I really hope she can make it to the final at least and tbh, it wouldn't surprise me if she did now. She's the act who's been by FAR the most versatile, consistent and marketable through this competition (all the other acts are pretty one dimensional in comparison). I'll be happy with anywhere in the top 5 for her considering she's been in the bottom 2 numerous times. But I think top 3 is not impossible from this point for her.

Also, amazing that she got SO much in the group performance (and slayed her parts!) I feel she is becoming the producers fave!

It certainly showed that when the group performance was actually one X Factor wanted to do really well, Saara was given by far the most in the song - the producers know that she is certainly the most reliable and talented singer.

Next week will be very interesting. There is so many massive movie ballads that Saara could really have a moment with. I'm even thinking she could have the very overused "I Will Always Love You" as she could have a Leona moment there and with a pimp slot she'd be sailing through. Saara is a big Celine Dion fan so "My Heart Will Go On" isn't out of the question either. But if the producers decide to go back to more gimmicks and uptempos that don't show her vocals then that suggests they don't want her challenging the Plan A quartet of Matt/Emily/5AM/Honey.

I think Saara's peak will be 5th (very nicely bringing an end to all of the Ruth Lorenzo parallels), she'll easily knock out Ryan in a sing-off if it comes to it but I'm struggling to see them getting rid of any of that quartet in favour of her.

I JUST NEED SAARA TO DO WUTHERING HEIGHTS AT SOME POINT!!

(Although doing I Will Always Love You and then this for 80s week the week after might see her become way too much of a force in the vote for the producers' liking!)

EDIT: Oh apparently Wuthering Heights was 1978 so that's out the window, my dad told me it was 80s!!

a caller told louis that the only ten people who would buy a ryan lawrie album would be the 9 people at his gig the other day

Yeah I'd love Saara in the final but I can't see her denting what's been the obvious final 4 for a few weeks now. I mean Emily might come 4th or 5th and push Saara up a place I guess if she carries on being this shit!! I definitely think Matt, Honey G and 5am will be the final 3 with Saara and Emily fighting for 4th. If they do their usual sing-offs until the final maybe Saara can do it as she can outsing any of the others objectively really, but of course with the likes of 4OD and Ryan progressing from sing-offs that doesn't always matter :drama: I think once Ryan is gone Emily will fall out of favour from the golden 4 as she won't have her little romance arc, and that's when she might slip below Saara.

I think it was probably Saara and Honey G tbh.

I wouldn't give the British public enough credit to get the right top 2
