December 13, 20169 yr Author Please note that's all we have right now guys re. midweek info!! The usual update maaaay come later but as always it's not guaranteed.
December 13, 20169 yr nice update thanks! so matt sold 21k first day, clean bandit could be less than 60k for the week
December 13, 20169 yr Matt Terry will have to keep selling at a rate of 21k per day to get to this week's #1, can't see it happening. Most likely Louis takes it.
December 13, 20169 yr Top 5 Update Missing data: Spotify streaming, Apple streaming Singles: #1 33.8k Clean Bandit feat. Sean Paul & Anne-Marie #2 26.4k Louis Tomlinson & Steve Aoki #3 23.1k Rag'n'Bone Man #4 22.2k The Weeknd feat. Daft Punk [starboy] #5 21.8k Matt Terry Albums: #1 54.5k Michael Ball & Alfie Boe #2 41.8k Rolling Stones #3 36.5k Little Mix #4 33.8k Elvis Presley #5 29.5k Olly Murs So good to see decent album sales and genuinely surprised at the sustained success of Olly - I guess he really is an album/gift buying act now which is no bad thing! The Top 5 album once again really shows which age group is propping up the physical albums - appreciate a lot is gift buying but Alfie/Michael, Rolling Stones and Elvis are appealing to the market that doesn't download or stream. Excellent start for Louis - was hoping he would kick Clean Bandit off the top, it's a good track but not 'worthy' of a 6 week stint at #1! And fair play to Matt Terry - Unknown song and no physical and doing better than expected.
December 13, 20169 yr Matt Terry will have to keep selling at a rate of 21k per day to get to this week's #1, can't see it happening. Most likely Louis takes it. why? matt just needs a bit more than 40k in three days (unfortunately)
December 13, 20169 yr I don't understand how - with missing streaming - someone can consider that Louis or Matt may grab no.1.
December 13, 20169 yr I should have specified that the missing data is Monday only! Edit: Replied before refreshing to see the latest replies. :kink:
December 13, 20169 yr Just read on Radio 1 site, good news Chart of the Year (UK's biggest selling tracks of 2016) hosted by Dev, between 4pm to 7pm (30 Dec), and the bad news no official chart announcement of that week instead we get the Chart of the Year.
December 13, 20169 yr Author I expect we'll still get a chart announcement during the show in some form from Radio 1!
December 13, 20169 yr Predicting based on today's update~ 1. Louis 2. Clean Bandit 3. Rag'n'Bone Man 4. Matt Terry 5. The Weeknd

But won't that chart just be all the re-entries anyway? (except maybe Honey G)
December 13, 20169 yr I'm pretty sure Clean Bandit will be no 1. Matt and Louis are dropping on iTunes now, I reckon CB will be ahead of Louis by this time tomorrow. And with the huge streaming advantage there will be no stopping them. Also Matt will be very frontloaded and won't be selling 20k a day for the rest of the week. Edited December 13, 20169 yr by iain
December 13, 20169 yr Author I think Louis at least will level out on iTunes before long, and his increasing streams could well counteract the drop in sales so it's most certainly not over for him yet!
December 13, 20169 yr I predict: 1. Clean Bandit 2. Louis Tomlinson 3. Matt Terry 4. Rag'N'Bone Man 5. The Weeknd
December 13, 20169 yr Clean Bandit, Louis Tomlinson & Steve Aoki and Matt Terry are all on for somewhere around 55-65k, will be very tight/interesting! Edited December 13, 20169 yr by Lenny
