Jo Cox is gonna get it. There will be a lot of media coverage on it. They only need 70k sales or so to clear it and they can get that easy peasy

Although I hope CB get it as I'll win £250!!

I'm doubtful if the Jo Cox thing will get it - there's already been loads of media coverage and it isn't even top 10 yet

I wonder what it'll mean for future Christmas #1's if Clean Bandit (or even Mariah) get it next Friday? To think this time ten years ago, the Christmas chart race was between Leona, McFly and Girls Aloud. :o These days it's various charity singles that are never listened to again after the New Year.
 13. Inspiral Carpets - Saturn 5

#8 combined now I believe :o

Anyone know if the Jo Cox/London Hospice physical copies are being sold in supermarkets?

I'm hoping Mariah can pull this out

I'm a bit behind. Can someone tell me what these are/ their likelihood of sticking around... I only really know about Jo Cox and the Hospice thing....

Inspiral Carpets - Saturn 5

Liv 'N' G - Our Superhero (A Christmas Wish)

James Shinny Davenport - Christmas Number 1

The Everly Pregnant Brothers - Chip Pan

Inspiral Carpets track is based around the death of the drummer, there is a report on OCC site

Everly Pregnant Brothers - Chip Pan On Fire  a parody of Sex on Fire. check you tube  ;)

The Liv 'N' G I don't have a clue

I didn't think anyone had chip pans any more there was a campaign in the late 90s I remember to get people to switch to deep fat fryers.

I also remember the Come Outside episode at the time with the fire, which i found quite sad :(

Only the Hospice has a CD single in the HMV where I work, nothing for Friends of Jo Cox despite a couple of people asking for it this morning.
matt is holding the itunes lead, cheeky move from xfactor people to make a xmas song
Hope Clean Bandit do the right thing and do a Justin Bieber by supporting their chart rivals in the race for Xmas #1
That Glasnevin act, keep on thinking its Glasvegas under a different moniker

 if only it was 'A Snowflake Fell (And It Felt Like a Kiss)' that was contending for Christmas #1... :(

#11. Inspiral Carpets - Saturn 5 (and #66, #85, #129, #319)

#14. Friends of Jo Cox - You Can't Always Get What You Want (and #276)

#15. Liv 'N' G - Our Superhero (A Christmas Wish)

#17. The London Hospices Choir & Paul Carrack - The Living Years

#23. Glasnevin - Grace (Green Brigade)

#27. The Everly Pregnant Brothers - Chip Pan

#31. Chris Brown - Party (feat. Gucci Mane & Usher)

#35. James Shinny Davenport - Christmas Number 1

#38. Terry Wogan - The Floral Dance

Nice to see Inspiral Carpets leading the pack of the new tracks, for me they be my ideal choice for the Christmas #1, out of all the new releases. On a different note that Jo Cox track is awful.
