So it is, but it seems you have to search for 'Friends of Jo Cox' rather than just 'Jo Cox'! It really is awful :mellow:

Even if it's crap it didn't stop Neon Brotherhood from doing well (although that was in the pre streaming inclusion time)

 

I'm really hoping that CB can hang on. Mariah is up to 3 already on Spotify (thanks to Now Christmas mainly boosting it)

I think Human is definitely an outside contender. It's poised to climb to #1 when Matt Terry drops off and if it keeps climbing up Spotify could well do it!

 

Quite exciting how there's so many contenders this week! Obviously backing Mariah though for selfish reasons but also it would be great to have a Christmas song at #1 too.

Backing Mariah too. I still think there's an outside chance if she has a big streaming lead this weekend. I bought the song on iTunes for the first time this morning!

Yeah, 'Human' is definitely an outside contender. I still think it is too far behind on Spotify though, it dropped a place today.

 

I think it will be ahead of Clean Bandit the week following this, but have a feeling it will just fall short this week, unless it builds up a big sales lead and really closes that Spotify gap.

She's at 293,673 plays for yesterday which is pretty good going for a weekday! The number of plays seems bigger this year and with lower sales that could make a difference, so fingers crossed!

I sometimes wish betting was illegal. I resisted betting on Clean Bandit at 25/1 because I messed up my Eurovision bets this year and I was so anxious/annoyed about it. Now I'm willing them not to be #1. Yet if I had bet I'd still be nervous at this point and even if I ended up winning I'd wish I'd put more money on. Bah!

 

It is starting to look good for Clean Bandit though isn't it? Suppose it's still possible Friends of Jo Cox will start to get more media attention soon.. but I think it's quite likely BBC will be careful of over-promoting it because of it having a political angle.

Jo Cox is gonna get it. There will be a lot of media coverage on it. They only need 70k sales or so to clear it and they can get that easy peasy
