December 23, 20169 yr Hope you all have a fantastic Christmas and I'll see you next week for the next chart! Although I'm not sure how much of a show we get next Friday
December 23, 20169 yr I suppose you could link Rockabye to the Nativity and make it a Christmas song :)
December 23, 20169 yr Mariah Carey WHO? Anne-Marie and Grace from Clean Bandit the TRUE QUEENS OF XMAS
December 23, 20169 yr I suppose you could link Rockabye to the Nativity and make it a Christmas song :) If only Mary was a single mother then it would describe the nativity perfectly
December 23, 20169 yr I suppose you could link Rockabye to the Nativity and make it a Christmas song :) Or the 'single mums' cause
December 23, 20169 yr £200 *.* yassss, great Xmas present! Well done Jack though, I'm so envious and impressed at that bet!
December 23, 20169 yr You forgot to put next weeks contender honey g Nope, I did not...
December 23, 20169 yr Rag 'n' Bone man up 3 for a third week in a row, surely the next number 1 not necessarily, it doesn't have as much streaming as the other #1 challengers (Clean Bandit, Little Mix, Zara Larsson) so that may stop it.
December 23, 20169 yr Mariah's got the highest streaming numbers of all Xmas songs in the US. But streaming is been adapted by fans of urban artists at a much faster pace than every other genre. The middle-aged ladies who love Mariah don't really stream. Ah I see - I would have thought younger people would have loved it as much!
December 23, 20169 yr It has been a very long time since we had such a great Christmas number one. A good end to a largely terrible year for the charts.
December 23, 20169 yr Hope you all have a fantastic Christmas and I'll see you next week for the next chart! Although I'm not sure how much of a show we get next Friday  We have the top 40 of the year show next Friday :cheer: with a 5 minutes break of the official top 40 singles chart I suppose
December 23, 20169 yr Thanks to the chart mods that put this thread together for the past 12 months, a lot of work goes on behind the scenes to bring you all the chart news. I just like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy new year
December 23, 20169 yr Congrats to all those who just won some money (including myself a good £100 richer, hooray)! x
December 23, 20169 yr £250 in the bank!!! Clearly the bookies need to brush up on how the charts work these days cos having them at 25/1 just a week ago was a HUGE oversight!
December 23, 20169 yr Yay for Clean Bandit, best proper #1 for Christmas in years (even though I liked Ben, MW, & JC) Also happy with Mariah being top 5, Shaky matching his 2007 download era peak, Chris & michael getting new peaks. Shame Andy Williams missed out though :( hopefully next year! Edited December 23, 20169 yr by XMAS Rob S~
December 23, 20169 yr £250 in the bank!!! Clearly the bookies need to brush up on how the charts work these days cos having them at 25/1 just a week ago was a HUGE oversight! Not really without pre orders not showing if any had any etc and the previous years campaign with media making big deal in previous years etc a week ago clean bandit looked like a long shot but it shows the public are growing tired of these heck before the first mid weeks I would have thought the campaigns one of them had a chance it's why over the week odds have been slashed as it became more obvious But congratulations on your winnings
