A new single mix is being released at midnight tonight, I'm not sure if this will be a remix of the Alan Walker remix or the album version (the single mix is actually longer than both according to iTunes NZ ) but both are excellent so I don't really mind, we'll find out soon enough! January 5, 20178 yr About time!!! The Alan Walker remix is so average though, I wouldn't mind a rapper maybe tacked on or just a bit of an extended version of the album version but it would be painful to see the remix overshadow possibly her best song ever :( It's passable and growing on me a bit but it just has nothing on the towering amazingness of the original. Also, I still have no idea how the hell Shakira rejected this, if she came back with this instead of Can't Remember To Forget You in 2014 it would surely have been an On The Floor style smash?
January 5, 20178 yr Yasss. New single mix out at midnight should mean it gets a proper boost due to being advertised as 'new'!
January 5, 20178 yr Ah I've found the single version on a download site, it's basically the original but a bit empty sounding with xylophone production in the background... I don't see the point, what's wrong with the original for them to remix it twice  It's not bad but eh, why?
January 5, 20178 yr Interested to hear what this 'single mix' entails. I can't imagine it'll be a brand new recording as such, but I'm curious as to whether it's an extension of the original or the Alan Walker remix. Both sound like big hits though - I know the song has fallen in my estimations but I can see the public really taking to it, just like I did when I first heard it.
January 5, 20178 yr I LOVE both versions, either would be a good single choice, but I imagine the Alan Walker one would be slightly more streaming friendly. But who knows, even the non Sean Paul version of Cheap Thrills did perfectly well in that respect.

I don't see the point, what's wrong with the original for them to remix it twice  It's not bad but eh, why? We have had too many zylophones and zylophone style production in dance and dance pop songs, the majority of tropical house has it in it. Edited January 5, 20178 yr by 🚡🚟🍥-♨🎪🚘🎉🍥
January 5, 20178 yr I hope the Alan Walker is more successful than the single mix. The Alan Walker remix is her best tune since She Wolf (Falling To Pieces) imo (but then I am a dance music fan) :D Edited January 5, 20178 yr by 🚡🚟🍥-♨🎪🚘🎉🍥
January 5, 20178 yr I never really "got" the original version, the Alan Walker remix really brought it to life for me so I was hoping they'd go with that if they were going to. I can't say it's a bad choice with regards to its popularity and potential, but I'll forever be pining for a release of the song I won't name for the zillionth time.
January 7, 20178 yr Move Your Body (Album Version) > Move Your Body (Alan Walker Remix) > Move Your Body (Single Mix)
January 7, 20178 yr It doesn't... sound that different? (The Alan Walker remix should be getting that push though)
January 7, 20178 yr This isn't resonating with me yet, I think it will be a miss on this occasion. :(
