April 21, 20178 yr Syco have held back Ella Henderson's album (which was finished end of Nov) to give Louisa the Nov-May slot (Louisa I think will definitely get an album release and I guess a BGT slot for a new single, if she doesnt they have already made the decision to drop her imo). After that I think it's Ella's slot! (June, July single; album Sept/Oct, James Arthur tour Nov and I guess a supporting XFactor appearance). I think Best Behaviour has a Pixie vibe re the song and her styling, which isnt great, it's a bit uncool and naff. I think she also hasnt performed that well in her live performances of this or other singles tbh. All adds up to things slipping away.

I'm not 100% convinced we will get an album from her unless the next single is HUGE - at the moment she doesn't have anything to be able to sell an album with, her debut was ages ago and a non event, Tears was of course big and went gold but is becoming a distant memory along with So Good, with BB likely to miss the Top 40 they almost need to do a Dua Lipa and start from scratch to save the campaign? Syco have little tolerance and have dropped winners with bigger hits so she is really on shaky ground with them IMO.
April 21, 20178 yr Doesn't Louisa HAVE to put out an album as part of her prize of winning X Factor? It's just a case of when.
April 24, 20178 yr I'll be fuming if they don't release an album and give it a proper push. She won the show she deserves to at least be given a shot. I feel like they've given up on Best behaviour already, she had really poor promo. I'm hoping they release the clean Bandit collab and she gets a BGT performance, they need to work out a way of building up streaming too.

They have definitely moved on from BB - the price has increased on iTunes and no apparent promo on the way. At the moment she's only achieved 1 hit out of her 3 solo releases - She's in Dua Lipa/Stooshe territory now and almost needs 3 solid hits to have a successful album. April 26, 20178 yr The Sun need to do more research: https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/34101...il-25/#comments 'After her first three big singles flopped'
April 26, 20178 yr The Sun need to do more research: https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/34101...il-25/#comments 'After her first three big singles flopped' I don't see a lie....
April 26, 20178 yr Tears and So Good didn't flop though  Tears went top 5 and was platinum, and So Good was a solid top 20 that stuck around for a good time. Even if you don't count Tears because that's a Clean Bandit song, So Good did very well for a new artist in this streaming era. I agree it's not looking good for her atm getting an album out and she's hardly done an Alexandra Burke or Leona Lewis' first era by any stretch but you cannot say her first 3 singles all flopped.
April 26, 20178 yr So Good has sold almost 400k now, lol. Very decent sized hit. It was huge on radio too. And you can't not count Tears if you're calling this "her last chance for a hit" when it's also a feature.
April 26, 20178 yr I don't see a lie.... How can So Good and Tears be branded as flops? I think that's highly unfair to list her as having 3 flops, when that's not true at all. Like the above post a 400k selling single is by no means a flop.

April 26, 20178 yr Yeah she's only really had one flop I'd say! Forever Young flopped but that wasn't really part of her solo career, that doing so badly was basically down to download sales collapsing and X Factor's rating decline I think  This is still so good omg. The GP annoy me so much sometimes :(
April 26, 20178 yr pretty sure the article's referring to her winner's single and not Tears :P I thought it was referencing Winner's single, Tears and So Good. Unless they are including Best Behaviour, which upon re-reading it, I assume they are.
April 26, 20178 yr Either way, she's released 4 singles if you include Tears and 2 of them have not flopped so they are wrong whether they mean Tears or Forever Young, because even without Tears being included, So Good is (close to) a gold selling #13 which is far from a flop.
April 26, 20178 yr Forever Young is easy to overlook, winning singles have never been an indicator of that winner's later success, so since then, Best Behaviour has been the only flop. Tears was huge and So Good was a big hit too, so it's a silly article.
April 26, 20178 yr Why are all the performances so bland? It's a dance song with a breakdown and she just stands there with two backing singers. I hope they push the next single and give her some decent visuals like they did with tears. It does make me wonder if Syco are just going to end up dropping her, there doesn't seem to be any budget unless they've just given up on BB?!?
