The interesting thing about this month is the fact that there are six or seven real standout tracks with crossover appeal that could all potentially win an average contest.

I don't think the winner is that straightforward to call, like UVland last month, because there's so many more 'winner aura' contenders this time around. It depends on whether we get a pop winner that appeals to everyone (Ashton, Yehesi), another PC Music victor (Altyr), a fun/meme type winner (Pupok, Hendinia) or if people are going for a trance vibe this month (South Danaelanda).

It's hard to tell which direction the wind will blow in but my gut feeling still thinks it's between Yehesi and Ashton, as they will hoover up more low/mid-points on top of the high points that the other contenders will get loads of too. Tone literally never fails for Ashton, and she's not about to start now with this sublime track.

I'm not letting me get ahead of myself here. Tone winning would really be something special tho with her then finishing at all three medal positions for me. I'm just so happy that everyone is loving Pinnacle. I'm so in love with Pinnacle right now that I just had to enter it to stick with my mantra of only entering things I'm in love with. It makes it so much more exciting and special when an entry you're super invested in is talked about or does well

Tone is my good luck charm so I'd love for her top 5 streak for me to continue.

Put like that makes me a lot more interested in the whole thing. I think the extra contenders that emerged from the plug session (and maybe yet more tonight) have sold me on this contest as an entertaining competition to watch play out. More contenders is always better.

Weird odds to put together because beyond a very solid block of contenders and another strong block of those just behind, I can't really call how the 11-41 area will pan out at all, everything seems so close, hence all the 20/1 and 22/1 odds!

I think the winner will definitely be between the five above the first line, if any have a 'surprise' underperformance then I imagine it would be Altyr but I can't see it coming any lower than low top ten at worst. It's Ashton vs Yehesi I still think, with Pupok and Hendinia possibly pulling off a surprise if a big enough crowd gather behind one or the other. I reckon any of the four could have won with a huge margin in a weaker contest, but I can't shake the feeling that the win is the Ashton/Tone combo's BJSC destiny.

A win would be the Pinnacle of Ashton and Tone's achievements together.

I would dearly love for Tone to win. Like there's no way to possibly describe what that'd mean to me. We're overdue a win as well tbh. It's been a long ass time since XXVIII and Molly's first foreign language winner

Fun stats: either Tone or Troll winning would smash the record for the longest gap between wins (currently held by Pavel with the gap of 32 contests between Lenka and Ronya, it would be 52 for Hendinia and 63 for République d'Ashton).

Pleasantly surprised to see myself not being way lower on your final odds than in the semi-finals for once Rich  I doubt I will be top half in this final though ~

spare a thought for Ramrynia, Séyetana and South Danaelanda though - we've all been entering since 2011 and still have yet to win!!

I do think it's Ashton's this month though, would be fitting if Tone Damli gave him his long awaited 2nd win

Plenty of viable contenders, the opposite of last month! Tone and Muna heading the 'pop' candidates, I'd personally want Yehesi to get it but Pinnacle seems more like bjsc's thing. Saving Light is a pretty dangerous contender though, euphoric trance with pop appeal + the anti-bullying vid, can't see it failing. Pupok could be in the mix, their entries that have a 'novelty' element always fare well and bjsc aren't averse to giving a crazy/off the wall dance song the win (see Aide/Free Tibet). Hendinia's is an interesting one, plenty are loving it though so Troll certainly can't be ruled out~

There's not much choice left for the rock voters now so you could do pretty well with it, I think it's a really strong entry, to me it's very Evanescence (though I'm quite sure that wasn't your intention!)

Espen, Tinnmark and Ojnoj even more so. (as well as anyone else who's veteran and winless) At this stage it's not long before it's more of a thing than Kylienips never winning was.

I can't disagree with most of what Seven's posted, I've come around to the idea of Tone as a contender and I'm seeing it as a straight fight between her and Saving Light now but with the other mentioned contenders still well in the mix and able to take if the wind blows their way. Maybe even Taahino to join the upper rank.

Happy with these odds as I didn't think Prom Queen would qualify for some reason  Of the contenders, I think and hope one of Ashton or Yehesi can do it.

(I have never won either guys hai xx Unless you count spin-offs icr if any of the listed above have won spin-offs I'm sure one of has surely?)

Oh no I totally acknowledge the Evanescence similarity, my first thought when I heard it was that it's basically 'Going Under' part 2! Evanescence even have a song called 'End Of The Dream' so I have a feeling the similarity is not entirely coincidental. I actually quite like Evanescence for the most part, just not their 2 biggest hits

It already is more of a thing than Kylienips for both Tinnmark and Espen, they're up to 83 and 77 entries respectively without winning (while Kylienips obviously 'only' had 74) - and quite cruelly for Espen considering one of their two silver medallists was the one beaten by Kylienips

Bignia-Zaragovina, New Lexico, Kluminican Republic and, as Liam pointed out, Unovia have also gone longer without a win than any of those Dan mentioned.

Exactly a year since #Titti became a force to be reckoned with in BJSC *.*
Shame Titti is as irrelevant is Lottsey these days... #Betti
