Not one of her biggest hits which is unfortunate but it seems to be fairly liked here so I was expecting it to do a little bit better actually but for her lowest peaking single, #14 isn't bad I guess. The video is also one of her most vibrant and fun which I really like. It's a catchy little tune but I don't really go back to it much.

Wide Awake is one of the more underrated tracks imo but I was also expecting it to do a little better perhaps? The video is one of her most visually appealing ones and it has a great chorus too. I'm glad it was chosen as the second single from the Complete Confection edition of Teenage Dream instead of Dressin' Up! This is heaps better for sure :wub:

This is another of Katy's more forgotten tracks but it seems as though Buzzjack rather likes it. It is probably one of her more fun tracks and it does make you want to let loose when you hear it out and about. It's a shame this wasn't another official top 10 hit for Katy (I prefer it to IKAG and HotNCold tbh!) :(

That's a good showing for TIHWD! Generally not liked on any forum, though me and my RL friends all love it. Interesting that Waking Up In Vegas so so low, as in other forums it pretty much always comes top 5, I find that Buzzjack's rating is very chart-minded. Teenage Dream to win!

'Part Of Me' is the definition of infuriatingly basic for me. Such lazy lyrics! So hooray for that missing the top 15.

 

My favourite Katy song 'Wide Awake' is WAY too low on the other hand :cry: such a gorgeous song and the accompanying video is captivating too. So underrated.

TIHWD forever proving how underrated it is! Literally one of the most laidback, chilled but fun pop tracks ever. It was always my album hughliggt and although I was unsure of it being a single choice, the video really showed me why it deserved to be one!

 

Also, the chorus and hook to 'Waking Up In Vegas' is f***ing pop heaven! It's a fun little track that one and 'Wid Awok' is beautiful. Not my fave, but I'd def place it a couple of places higher.

A bit of a shock here as one of her most famous hits and first smash ever doesn't even make the top 10 of our rate! It did get a fair bit of love but also far too many middling scores to gain a high finish. It's personally not one of her best for me as she still had much more fun pop tracks still to come and it does seem a little date now almost a decade (!!!!) later.

This was one of the biggest shocks for me when I first calculated the results, I knew that it had a couple of haters but I was not expecting Katy's largest hit to date to just be scraping the top 10! It is one of the most fun pop tracks of recent times and the video is one of her most vibrant. It's what you've come to expect from Katy but there's no denying how catchy it is and how much it'll be stuck in your head after listening to it just the once.
