She is over tbh. No wonder she is crying. She has realised, like GaGa, she can't put out any ol crap after a long break, have awful styling and pretentiousness and expect to still be huge.

Who'd have thought in 2013 that 3 years later Katy and GaGa would be little more relevant than Britney and Christina, but with GaGa having the Britney hits still!

This is her Art Flop.

OK maybe I was a little harsh because it is growing and the chorus is fairly catchy. The rap verse is rly forgettable tho and the song does take too long to get into the swing of things, it is a bit of a disappointment after CTTR.

Do we think this genuinely has a shot at being a hit? I think it's going to be a massive flop tbh as it is kinda messy (but then Swalla is currently s huge hit so not that matters ) and I'm worried for her chances of a hit single/album following this as we've seen with Gaga how quickly radio can drop you. I know it sounds really pessimistic but I just don't feel confident that it's the huge hit that she could've done with at this stage in the campaign :o

I was a bit quick to judge tbh, after a few plays I really like this now :kink: It's nowhere near CTTR and yeah it won't be huge but it's GOOD.

Feel so bad for her! :(

this serves her for making fun of Britney's breakdown etc etc.

Oh god not this again

Agreed tbh. It teaches her a valuable lesson about how it is NECESSARY for popstars to stay in the public eye and on the radar of big producers/ ear to the pop ground. Sitting at home baking pies didn't work for Nelly and it didn't work for Katy!

Can't wait for y'all to catch up and be bopping in a month

Can kinda see myself loving it eventually!

It seems like we will get another single before we catch up and bop to this

Yeah this is growing on me exponentially *.* It's a bop but I really can't see it doing anything other than bombing  It'll get to like #25.
Eeh it seems to be really underperforming everywhere on iTunes. She should pull the plug on this single.

I'm a bit worried she won't even have anything else better up her sleeve.

I really think the inevitable hot mess of a video will be what pushes it up the chart, so until then I think it'll flounder for a couple of weeks.

She should do a GaGa and switch NOW and call it a buzztrack.

However, after Rise, CTTR now this, this is probably her best on offer atm!!

If that's the case, do a Rita, scrap it and go back to the studio and keep everyone waiting a little while longer. She is crying as she knows this album is not up to scratch.

i don't understand how her "looks" are coming into anything at all? i think she's looked amazing this era (not that that should even matter anyway!)

How can you say the album is not up to scratch without hearing it?

Of course her looks matter. They shouldn't but they do. She's a popstar, not a ''real'' musician like Ed Sheeran or Adele. It basically defines how marketable she is.

I do however think this is the moment it all starts to go disastrously wrong for her.

Yeah, her days as a huge popstar are most likely over :(. I still blame the long waiting period between 'Prism' and this new album.

This might genuinely already be in my top 10 Katy songs.

It really gives me 'This Is How We Do' vibes, weirdly!

it's going way too far though, the fact she's physically upset over how people perceive her current image is absolutely despicable. she's a human not a dress up doll! i think she should be able to create her own image based on what she wants out there to portray her music
