April 5, 20179 yr Any chance Kygomez can go Top 5? No idea based on today's update but they looked pretty locked on for #7 yesterday!
April 5, 20179 yr If we compare these midweek figures with last week's ones we have Clean Bandit up 3k sales, 'Shape of You' down 6k sales, 'Galway Girl' down 5k sales. If everyone is going at the same pace next week we'll have Clean Bandit overtake both Ed Sheeran tracks but I feel it will stall, so at least 'Shape of You' will stay above it. It will depend on a Harry Styles track next week, but i'd say the possibilities are: SOY at #1 for about 50%; new Harry track for about 25%; Symphony for about 20%; Galway Girl for about 5%.
April 5, 20179 yr I'd say the Harry Styles song has a 99% chance of going to #1. It only needs to sell 80k to guarantee its #1 position and I think he'll do that within 2-3 days.
April 5, 20179 yr I agree with Dan, Harry's song would have to be VERY non-commercial to miss #1 I think.
April 5, 20179 yr I would be very shocked if Harry didn't go straight in at #1. I think it'll do a Shout Out/Pillowtalk
April 5, 20179 yr I just hope Harry has a reasonable second week drop though so that he can make way for 'Symphony' to give Clean Bandit another #1 smash
April 5, 20179 yr Imagine if Clean Bandit start falling like Galway Girl so we'll have 'Shape of You' back at #1 in two weeks.
April 5, 20179 yr You know, I never thought I'd be supportive of a Harry Styles #1... In all honesty I think I'd PREFER Ed to remain #1 over Harry Styles (though I think that is very unlikely) but I'll reserve my full judgement until I've heard the actual song.

Are you kidding me right? Harry Styles just needs to sell 61 or 62k to guarantee its #1 position next week. :P Shape of You is going to sell around 65k this week and probably no more than 60k next week. -_- NO OTHER SALES INFO[/color] Music Week gave us the top 40 albums sales info. :kink:
April 5, 20179 yr Music Week gave us the top 40 albums sales info. :kink: Which is probably a mistake in all fairness :kink:
April 5, 20179 yr Which is probably a mistake in all fairness :kink:  I wish it was the singles sales info because I'd love to know the gap between Castle On The Hill & It Ain't Me. :(
April 5, 20179 yr Take That drop a further place to number 5 as i feared, still respectable position and sales for week 2.
April 5, 20179 yr Can anybody tell me Goldfrapp's sales this far please? Under 10.3k. Should comfortably remain #6.
April 5, 20179 yr Take That drop a further place to number 5 as i feared, still respectable position and sales for week 2. Same position as Vera Lynn's recent second week with fewer Sales though doesn't look good for Take That. Are we really suggesting that less than 20k for week 2 are respectable Sales ? How the mighty has fallen.
April 6, 20179 yr I think 20k is respectable sales in this climate, most artists struggle to sell that on many weeks, even debut week. If you look at Zara Larsson, an act who is very big right now cant manage those sales on debut week which is an album with loads of hit singles. Take That do not sell nearly aswell as they used to and their sales have falling, i wouldnt deny that, but that is to be expected at this point of their career, 2 million plus sales on every album was always going to come to an end. Take That are among the very few acts that can achieve these kinda sales 25 years into their career.
April 6, 20179 yr I just hope Harry has a reasonable second week drop though so that he can make way for 'Symphony' to give Clean Bandit another #1 smash  He will have the Graham Norton Show on April 21, i think 4 weeks at #1 is ok for him!
