April 12, 20178 yr 01. 'Untouchable' --- 02. 'The Loving Kind' --- --- --- 03. 'The Promise' Petty much this, with spacings and all. Untouchable really is just that, easily their very best, especially the album version with the glorious build ups and middle 8 *.*

April 12, 20178 yr 01. The Promise 02. The Loving Kind 03. Untouchable The opposite to most, clearly :lol: The Promise is one of their best for me, such a catchy song. The Loving Kind is great, would benefit from more of Nicola's "I'd do anything" bit, whilst Untouchable is only really good in single version, it drags any longer. The middle 8 of Nadine is indeed fantastic but it's not one I'd go back to much.

Nicola's "I'd do anything" bit in The Loving Kind is exquisite, I agree with Rob (and Joe said this on messenger as well) that the song would benefit by repeating this section. A lovely song overall, but not one of their most exciting moments. I adore Untouchable in its full-length album form, but I feel like some of the magic is stripped out of the single version. The vocodered vocal moments are so unnecessary. Although Nadine's "beautiful robots dancing alone" section is forever brilliant. :heart: If it was based on album version then I'd have it in 2nd place instead.
