The nominations are closed, and the nominees in each constituency should be revealed tonight. Tim Farron will face a tough challenge, as he is contesting his seat against a Fish Finger. Just as well the election isn't on Friday, otherwise Mr Farron might end up eating his opponent.

Mr Fishfingerer is a little coi about his home address.

I can only apologise for that pun, cod knows I should know better...

And you should stop carping. I've just about haddock it up to here with that. Have you got a chip on your shoulder or something?

Apparantley UKIP have decided not to run in our constituency  quite tragic, they did well here in 2015 and also the constituency voted quite overwhelmingly for Brexit. If they can't run here, they're truly over
Ukip aren't standing in loads of seats especially in the north, even seats they got 20-25% in last time - prob be good for labour that!

The vast majority of those votes will go to the Tories so it's terrible for Labour.

Exactly, surely its a tactical move to shore up the right leaning vote!

From what I can see, only the three main parties are standing in my constituency, the first time since 2001! :o
Yeah I think Paul Nutjob said that they wouldn't stand where there was a "strong pro-Brexit mp" or some shite like that and that they'd only stand where there wasn't to "prevent backsliding on Brexit" or whatever that conspiracy theory the far right lunatics are currently peddling

UKIP are not far-right - I would never vote for a far-right party!

On a lighter note, UKIP are standing in Tewkesbury even though the Tory MP Laurence Robertson is a strong Eurosceptic.

If they're not far-right what are they? Centerists? The far-left? Mate that's probably the biggest pile of utter shite you've ever posted here and f*** me that's one hell of a high bar.

Every single independent, non-bias, politically neutral, academically sound analysis of the left-right spectrum in the UK has UKIP sitting along side the BNP on the far-right with only the EDL on the extremist-right beyond them. Like this isn't my opinion it's a verifiable fact that UKIP are a far-right party.

Yes, Nutt-All wants to get rid of the NHS, which is pretty right-wing, and insane. Cue rant....

Given the state of the NHS now, as a direct result of Tories, much less right-wing, and killing people on a daily basis. This is a fact. People are dying daily as ambulances take forever to turn up to emergencies, latest local victim a gunshot burglary victim - not a priority apparently as police were in attendance and he was still breathing. When they stop breathing they become a priority.

I'm not making this up. South Western Ambulances Services policy. I found out about this policy first hand as my dad had a massive heart attack two years, he could barely breathe but they took 45 minutes to turn up - hospital is 5 minutes drive away. Took about 2 hours to get him in a hospital bed. The doctors and nurses were brilliant, 8 stents 2 operations, masses of pills. The ambulance service management and funding though is shite, the poor staff dash around 2 or 3 counties trying to cope. This is a gift for Labour, would be nice if they challenged that Strong & Stable policy-avoiding parrot with a few examples taken from every local paper, and forced her onto the back heel and away from her self-indulgent maudlin self-pitying cheap sympathy-attracting bollocks. Who needs policies when you can claim to be strong and stable by going on to rubbish chat radio and talking about life problems that we all have in spades instead of doing your job.

I suggest less time spent having dinners with Rupert Murdoch, and more time having dinners with people who pop down to Lidl to get food to eat.....

NHS hospitals hit by cyber attack.

I wonder how long it'll take until the conspiracy theorists claim that this is a co-ordinated attack by the Russians to damage the credibility of the Conservatives for the NHS, and to help Russia's mate, Jeremy Corbyn, to become PM?

damage the credibility of the Conservatives for the NHS

What credibility? Jeremy ***t seems to be doing a good job of that himself.

Admittedly I said that with a little bit of tongue in cheek, but given that most recent polls suggest that the general public seem to believe that Theresa May would manage the NHS better than Corbyn, something like this happening would make said simple minds think to itself "this is definitely the Conservatives' fault, I'm voting Labour".
