Well biggest hit since last year's 'Perfect Illusion' got to number 12.

Well biggest hit since last year's 'Perfect Illusion' got to number 12.

I can see this matching/surpassing that when the video is out if streaming and airplay continue to build.

 

Even if it doesn't, The Cure (and Million Reasons for that matter) have had much more of a cultural impact than Perfect Illusion has. Don't see PI becoming a GaGa classic in peoples minds over time unlike the two I have mentioned.

On what criteria?

It might not have peaked as high but it's showing MUCH better longevity so far on both sales and streams. Perfect Illusion dived after its #12 peak whereas The Cure climbed in week 2. Definitely going to be a bigger hit in the long run.
