Wasn't Zayn's post album though? But in the grand scheme of things I think we all (well I definitely did) over estimated the power of 1D tbh. Dunno why coz tbh, their singles were never really THAT big (save for a couple). Obviously they were big, but not as big as the hype surrounding them would suggest.

'Like I Could' was initially released as an instant grat, but I think it only got pushed post-album.

I was thinking this too; in the UK 1D weren't the all conquering Juggernaut that they were in other countries - particularly on the singles front where even some of them lead album singles failed to even top the charts.

'Want You Back' is very HAIM by number, though that's not really a bad thing.

 

That Galantis song is very chilled for them.
