May 15, 20179 yr Miley straight in at #7 is very impressive! :o Also didn't expect Harry to return to the top 3. Yay at Disciples, Gaga, and Jonas Blue getting new peaks. Maggie Lindemann looking like debuting in the top 20 *.* Slaying! Also seems like Calvin Harris could scrape the top 40, still an awful result for him tho. Yay at Paramore returning to the top 40  Wow at Fisherman going straight into the top 40 *.* Doubt it'll stay there but I can hope :') Also Lucie Jones #41, that's a great result for her, she should be top 60 come Friday then :cheer: Edited May 15, 20179 yr by mdh
May 15, 20179 yr Imelda may on the climb, steady chart run for her so far. New kids on the block at 31 is a big surprise but will probably end up top 50 by end of the week.
May 15, 20179 yr A ton of streaming data missing there I suspect (as is the norm), not fussed about any of those new entries.
May 15, 20179 yr A ton of streaming data missing there I suspect (as is the norm), not fussed about any of those new entries. Don't think there's that much missing tbh - Fisherman wouldn't be top 40 otherwise.
May 15, 20179 yr Author Don't think there's that much missing tbh - Fisherman wouldn't be top 40 otherwise. Two days of Spotify are missing, Fisherman wasn't even top 50 on Spotify so will likely drop out!
May 15, 20179 yr I read an article in Music Week I think which mentioned that the record company made a deliberate decision to announce the Paramore album only three weeks in advance. I can't remember exactly what the rationale was but it was of course an unusual strategy.
May 15, 20179 yr J Hus' album has been doing really well on Apple Music so presumably that explains all his midweek entries being higher than Spotify may suggest.
May 15, 20179 yr Okay, I eat my words about it being unlikely Harry would be able to double Zayn's first week album sales when he's in fact almost outdone him in just three days and with two days of streaming missing! :P
May 15, 20179 yr Lovely for Miley & especially Maggie. Amazing for the latter to already be top 20 *.* & gaga hopefully for a new peak!
May 15, 20179 yr Okay, I eat my words about it being unlikely Harry would be able to double Zayn's first week album sales when he's in fact almost outdone him in just three days and with two days of streaming missing! :P Yes he is up on Kasabian's Sales from last Monday by about 1k, clear number 1. May be touch and go for Rag 'N' Bone Man to stay Top 5 depending on the impact of streaming for J Hus although he could even catch Paul Weller.
May 15, 20179 yr Lucie at #41! Glad she's probably going to get a Top 100 place on Friday but wish she could just sneak up... Would be nice to see Blanche & Sobral stay as well
May 15, 20179 yr Didn't even know that Justin Currie had an Album out, always the last to know... Applause emoji  Edited May 15, 20179 yr by The Hit Parade
May 15, 20179 yr For now Miley is top 10, but she will drop once the spotify sales are added for Sat & Sun
May 15, 20179 yr 2 days of streaming missing? That sucks. The Eurovision entries don't stand a chance in the end then, there are currently 7 in the top 200, 3 top 75.
May 15, 20179 yr Miley is headed for a #12-13 debut then. Kygo/Ellie out of top 40 but I expect it to be around #37 when streaming is factored in.
May 15, 20179 yr Looks as though Maggie should be on to stick at around #19-#21 - gives me hope it can be a top 10 when it gets a 59p discount. Also looks like Paramore will manage a re-entry to the top 40 which is nice.
May 15, 20179 yr I hope J Hus can push RNB Man out of the top 10 and it looks like Harry has #1 album in the bag
