That's some alternative facts. Our issue last year was never against the rest of the top 6. We bullied out draws where we perhaps didn't deserve them. However what let us down was far too many draws against the dregs of the PL. We didn't kill off enough teams like WH and Swansea.

Whilst that is true, no one is winning the title when they're only taking 12 points from 12 games against the other sides in the top 7.

That's the problem. Maybe this year they might go and actually try to beat the top teams, instead of playing the percentage game. If they do start winning the big games then they do have an excellent chance.

Undefeated at home last year. First "home" game this year is a loss - the curse is real!

Wonder if all the pundits will now be backing Chelsea for the league again?

Given their goal was actually an own goal, looks like Spurs year at Wembley is going to go as we anticipated.

Never mind the pundits - most people were writing Chelsea off after last weekend. Absolutely ridiculous.

Spurs will struggle at Wembley, said it all along. Teams will come and lowblock them. Obviously losing at home to Chelsea is no shame, but they will struggle to find the same form they did last year.

I think they will find some rhythm, they have had a tough start, especially when Mahrez decides to show up to get his move away from the club.

Think Watford will surprise a lot of people this year.

At least Mahrez plays for the club who pay his wages which is more than can be said for some players closer to home - need the transfer window to close on the 1st August in future makes no sense to have it opened until 31st August!

I'm glad he's not playing at the moment, clearly he is not in the right frame of mind. That should be the end of it now until next year.

I'm still not getting carried away with our start to the season as we've been down this road before and it hasn't always turned out rosy, our biggest tests will come in winter time with games against Man City, Arsenal and Chelsea close to one another. Nonetheless I'm pleased with how we've started the season.

David Wagner will get the manager of the month award for August I think, it's good to see Huddersfield start well but I have the feeling that when they eventually lose their first game of the season it will open the floodgates for a consecutive run of defeats that will take them into the relegation zone.

I don't think Tottenham will suffer from "the Wembley curse" this season, they had probably the toughest opponent possible for their opening match and I think they will beat Burnley at home next weekend and results at home will be good for them after that.

I would feel for you but you support Man United 😜

Agree about Huddersfield, remember Hull did so well last season with Phelan!

Absolute stupid from Sterling to do that and try and cause a pitch invasion. Where were the extra two minutes come from?

Stunning goal from Daniels there.

Even by West Ham standards, our start has been farcical. Slaven Bilic's position is under review according to Sky Sources. We've become a joke club.

The MOTD highlights didn't even show how there was as much as five minutes stoppage time in the first place! The goal was in the seventh minute but I don't know whether that was one second in (meaning there was only really one more minute added) or towards the end. When five minutes are signalled it is not particularly uncommon for six to be played.

Of course there was that booking during stoppage time which caused an delay after listening to it on 5 Live.

Not great from Crystal Palace there, could struggle this season. Early days yet though.

Nasty tackle from Britos could have an horrific injury to the Brighton player. A good point from Brighton against Watford. Although they deserved the three points. Encouraging stuff from them.
An great start to the season from Huddersfield. A bit of a disappointing day in the league today.

It was a dreadful tackle. He then made it worse by acting as if he had done nothing wrong. Brighton did look better with Knockaert back in the team.

Signed a load of shite. Think you will be OK and 3 away games in a row does not help, but certainly cannot see Bilic lasting the season.

Most on twitter had sympathy for the city fan being pinned down by the police/stewards but I find it hard to be sympathetic because the fans shouldn't be on the pitch in the first place - there were dozens of them and it could have got worse!

I saw this on Match Of The Day last night, it looked like something out of a Kung-Fu movie! There will surely be some retrospective action from the FA for that foul.

I hope today's match between Arsenal & Liverpool ends in a draw. A lot of people will want Arsenal to lose today just for the meltdowns from their fans but I think if both of those teams drop some points today then that would be the best scenario for Man United.
