Great result for Brighton, played well and Ryan pulled off some great saves..hopefully more of this to come :)

:cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Judging by the MOTD highlights and reports one Final Score it seems to have been a decent performance until the last ten minutes or so.

I know. What I meant by us not losing ground on other teams is the fact that we are still top of the table and are not catching up to anyone yet like we were last season when we kept drawing matches. If we had lost then we wouldn't be top at the moment, even though it doesn't count for much this early in the season.

You can't look at anything until after 10 games, it is way too early to tell. Having a great start is excellent, but look at Man City last year.. Chelsea had a pretty hit and miss start as well. I think come the end of October we will be in a better position to judge everything. You have a banker of 3 points against Everton though, who continue to be the most overrated side in the league.

Yeah pretty sure City won their first 6 league games the past 2 or 3 seasons (or 2 out of those 3 seasons) whereas the past 2 Champions both had indifferent starts. In the Fergie days we were notoriously slow starters as well! The games against the other top teams coming up will be very telling...

And I'm not sure on the Everton game, I mean it's just written in the stars for Rooney to score. Mind you it's probably the same for Lukaku. It'll be interesting to see how we bounce back after a wobble, last season we'd have probably gone on a run of 3 or 4 draws but if we go straight back to winning 3 in a row that will be significant.

Jose was really pissed off yesterday after the draw. I think in his head he really thought your first 7 games are really winnable so it would leave him with a nice gap between the other top teams. I think the first 'big' team you play is against us in October. It just means Mourinho can play for the draw, hope for the victory and not have to worry about the others if you beat Stoke yesterday. But as things stand now, City are level on points and got to make some ground on goal difference.

You will beat Everton no problems at Old Trafford - they are shite. They have no pace and no goal threat. I also think you're playing them after they play in the Europe League? Easy win for you guys. Though yes I suspect Rooney will score!

If Rooney scores I want the defenders heads on spikes on top of the south stand. They've trained against him for so long they should know every one of his tricks. Not to mention that even Daily Blind can move faster than he can. Hell, even Rojo right now would be quicker than Rooney. Anyone giving him time & space to score quite frankly isn't good enough to play for United.

We got rid because he's lazy and lethargic and his first touch still resembles a bull in a china shop.

I would expect us to beat Everton and Fellaini had better not even be in the match day squad after what he pulled at the away fixture last year.

I agree that it's too early to tell, Watford for example who are 4th at the moment will be no where near there by the end of the season. I think the match against Everton will be tough and will be our biggest test of the season so far.

Frank De Boer is looking increasingly likely to be the first manager to get sacked but I hope he stays at Palace until the end of the month at least so that he can be in charge when we play them in a few weeks time.

Nothing would surprise me anymore but frankly it would be ridiculous if Palace sacked De Boer. Didn't they bring him to try & play more attractive football? Like it's not gonna happen instantly & they're right back to square one if he goes. They only lost today because of a shocking individual error.

I think Bilic right now is most under pressure especially if tomorrow goes badly for them. Can't see it being too long before the Leicester players throw another tantrum & Shaekspeare is thrown under the bus too.

Had WAtford as relegation fodder but forgot the hull manager from last year was there - he's a great manager imo.

Palace are having an excellent start to the season :D They are for Brighton fans anyway

Watford will be fine all season as long as they keep Silva. I suspect he is probably the next coach one of the big teams will look at. They have a really good squad with some exciting players. Could potentially be pushing a top half finish this year, I thought they would be alright.

Also tipped De Boer to struggle for the fact that I don't think he is a pretty good manager. Trying to change the style so drastically does not help matters either. I suspect he might survive another game, but football is a results business - can certainly see the chairman pulling the trigger sooner rather than later.

With no goals in four games, some might say it's not going terribly well :cheer:

Yeah read that they're the first team in PL history to lose their first 4 matches without scoring. I think losing Zaha week 1 was a blow as although he's very hit and miss he's probably the only player in that team who can make something happen from nowhere (perhaps along with Cabaye who strangely hasn't turned up at all yet).
So far Palace and Bournemouth looking the most likely to have a tough season.

And West Ham depending on how long they keep Billic!

Expecting the Dildo Brothers to doom us by waiting too long to sack Bilic and letting Palace steal Benitez. Tomorrow night is going to be a struggle.
That's what happenens when you have a bunch of tories as owners!
De Boer gone  The incredible thing is it looks like they will go for Hodgson to replace him...

Roy Hodgson to Palace really?

I think De Boer has broken Les Reed record at Charlton Athletic for the least amount of games managed in the Premier League and then getting sacked.

Steve Parish the Crystal Palace chairman is a snake. Yesterday they showed some tweets that he wrote in which he said that he would stick by Frank De Boer. I will be so annoyed if they suddenly decided to turn up when they play us in about 2 weeks time because normally when a team changes manager their performance levels increase almost straight away.
